November 2002: In recent days the tone of the media hype for war has
changed subtly to less saber rattling and more uncertainty about what
to do. Does this reflect the fact that we have no "leadership"
or does it reflect the fact that the "temperature" of the
people has cooled rather quickly and that the powers that be have awakened
to the fact that "we don't get fooled again?"
There is, of course, another possibility. It could very well be that
such dramas are played out to get everybody all excited and worried,
only to have the excitement and worry lead to nothing. After a few "conditioning"
trials of this sort, a day will come when no one pays any attention
to anything anymore, and at that point, the trap may snap shut.
In other words, what may be being promoted is a sort of bored complacency
about truly horrifying events. All the while, the pan of water in which
the frog is swimming is getting warmer and warmer.
We have presented some alternative views of the WTC attack which suggest
rather clearly that perhaps we ought to look in a different direction
for the "culprits" and not be fooled by the machinations of
the government to manipulate us into accepting the first scapegoat proposed.
Obviously they thought we might buy it, but the Internet has gone far
to pre-empt the control of the print and televised media. People are
talking to each other around the globe without the filters of their
government approved media masters.
Nevertheless, like a child whose game of make-believe has been seen
through, the government and the media stubbornly continue to act as
though they haven't been completely exposed - that maybe if they believe
hard enough, they will be able to convince others that their imaginal
world is real.
That is not to say that many people are not still caught up in the
emotional stew that brought to the boil with the WTC attack. Sure! My
bank deposit receipts even came printed with patriotic slogans! But,
we notice that when the subject comes up now, people don't sound so
sure anymore. They don't have the vigor and sureness in their voice
when they declare "Yup! We oughta go out and whup those Yankees
and be back in time for dinner!" The reality that "whupping
up on the Yankees" consists in slaughtering mainly women and children
and old people - most of whom have lived so difficult an existence for
the past 20 years or more that to some of them, death would come as
a blessing, has sort of taken the spark out of the war engine.
And that information has come to us courtesy of the Internet - our
global connection of people talking to people. Networking, as the Cassiopaeans
say.
Nevertheless, we DO have a problem here! Do we for an instant think
that these forces will just tuck their tail between their legs and go
away? Do we think that bullies take their marbles and go home if they
can't get the other kids to play their cheating games?
Of course not! The one chief thing about such forces is that they always
seek to manipulate - to take without giving - and control is the objective
of the game.
At this point, I want to quote a passage from Ouspensky's book: In
Search of the Miraculous, wherein he recounts a conversation with Georges
Gurdjieff about war.
"How can one get rid of false ideas?" I asked. "We
depend on the forms of our perception. False ideas are produced by
the forms of our perception."
G. Shook his head.
"Again you speak of something different," he said. "You
speak of errors arising from perceptions but I am not speaking of
these. Within the limits of given perceptions man can err more or
err less. As I have said before, man's chief delusion is his conviction
that he can do. All people think that they can do, all people want
to do, and the first question all people ask is what they are to do.
But actually nobody does anything and nobody can do anything. This
is the first thing that must be understood. Everything happens. All
that befalls a man, all that is done by him, all that comes from him
- all this happens. And it happens in exactly the same way as rain
falls as a result of a change in the temperature in the higher regions
of the atmosphere or the surrounding clouds, as snow melts under the
rays of the sun, as dust rises with the wind.
"Man is a machine. All his deeds, actions, words, thoughts,
feelings, convictions, opinions, and habits are the results of external
influences, external impressions. Out of himself a man cannot produce
a single thought, a single action. Everything he says, does, thinks,
feels - all this happens. Man cannot discover anything, invent anything.
It all happens.
"To establish this fact for oneself, to understand it, to be
convinced of its truth, means getting rid of a thousand illusions
about man, about his being creative and consciously organizing his
own life, and so on. There is nothing of this kind. Everything happens
- popular movements, wars, revolutions, changes of government, all
this happens. And it happens in exactly the same way as everything
happens in the life of individual man. Man is born, lives, dies, builds
houses, writes books, not as he wants to, but as it happens. Everything
happens. Man does not love, hate, desire - all this happens."
I hope that the reader understands the thing that Gurdjieff was attempting
to elucidate. It is the Matrix Control System of our reality that has
programmed all of us from birth to believe certain things about our
world, to have certain programmed reactions, and all of this can and
is done without any idea of "alien abductions" or unusual
efforts entering into it at all. When you add to the mix the idea of
abductions, the idea of government mind control programs, the idea of
the Stargate Conspiracy, of course, you have
a Matrix of some complexity. But the average person is programmed by
the media, by the school system, by his church, his clubs, his social
group. For most people, that is the machine in which they are cogs,
and they have no freedom at all. And it is this carefully constructed
lie about our reality that the 4th density Self Serving forces have
created and maintained for many thousands of years. This is the web
of our mass mind belief systems. And it is our beliefs that create our
reality, not our thoughts or our fears. Back to Gurdjieff:
"But no one will ever believe you if you tell him he can do
nothing. This is the most offensive and the most unpleasant thing
you can tell people. It is particularly unpleasant and offensive because
it is the truth, and nobody wants to know the truth.
"When you understand this, it will be easier for us to talk.
But it is one thing to understand with the mind and another thing
to feel it with one's 'whole mass,' to be really convinced that it
is so and never forget it.
"With this question of doing, yet another thing is connected.
It always seems to people that others invariably do things wrongly,
not in the way they should be done. Everybody always thinks he could
do it better. They do not understand, and do not want to understand,
that what is being done, and particularly what has already been done
in one way, cannot be, and could not have been, done in another way.
Have you noticed how everyone now is talking about the war? Everyone
has his own plan, his own theory. Everyone finds that nothing is being
done in the way it ought to be done. Actually everything is being
done in the only way it can be done. If one thing could be different
everything could be different. And then perhaps there would have been
no war.
"Try to understand what I am saying: everything is dependent
on everything else, everything is connected, nothing is separate.
Therefore everything is going in the only way it can go. If people
were different everything would be different. They are what they are,
so everything is as it is."
This was very difficult to swallow.
"Is there nothing, absolutely nothing, that can be done?"
I asked.
"Absolutely nothing."
"And can nobody do anything?"
"That is another question. In order to do it is necessary to
be. And it is necessary first to understand what to be means. [...]
"One must learn to speak the truth. This also appears strange
to you. You do not realize that one has to learn to speak the truth.
It seems to you that it is enough to wish or to decide to do so. And
I tell you that people comparatively rarely tell a deliberate lie.
In most cases they think they speak the truth. And yet they lie all
the time, both when they wish to lie and when they wish to speak the
truth. They lie all the time, both to themselves and to others. Therefore
nobody ever understand either himself or anyone else. Think - could
there be such discord, such deep misunderstanding, and such hatred
towards the views and opinions of others, if people were able to understand
one another? But they cannot understand because they cannot help lying.
To speak the truth is the most difficult thing in the world; and one
must study a great deal and for a long time in order to be able to
speak the truth. The wish alone is not enough. To speak the truth
one must know what the truth is and what a lie is, and first of all
in oneself. And this nobody wants to know." [...]
I remember another talk about the war. We were sitting in the Philopov's
Cafe on the Tverskaya. It was very full of people and very noisy.
War and profiteering had created an unpleasant, feverish atmosphere.
[...]
The conversation began with my question: "Can war be stopped?"
And G. answered: "Yes it can." I had been certain from
previous talks that he would answer: "No, it cannot."
"But the whole thing is: how?" he said. "It is necessary
to know a great deal in order to understand that. What is war? It
is the result of planetary influences. Somewhere up there two or three
planets have approached too near to each other; tension results. Have
you noticed how, if a man passes quite close to you on a narrow pavement,
you become all tense? The same tension takes place between planets.
For them it lasts, perhaps, a second or two. But here, on the earth,
people begin to slaughter one another and they go on slaughtering
maybe for several years. It seems to them at the time that they hate
one another; or perhaps that they have to slaughter each other for
some exalted purposes; or that they must defend somebody or something
and that it is a very noble thing to do; or something else of the
same kind. They fail to realize to what an extent they are mere pawns
in the game. They think they signify something; they think they can
move about as they like; they think they can decide to do this or
that. But in reality all their movements, all their actions, are the
result of planetary influences. And they themselves signify literally
nothing. ...It must be understood that neither Emperor Wilhelm, nor
generals, nor ministers, nor parliaments, signify anything or can
do anything. Everything that happens on a big scale is governed from
outside, and governed either by accidental combinations of influences
or by general cosmic laws. [...]
"Wars cannot be stopped. War is the result of the slavery in
which men live. Strictly speaking men are not to blame for war. War
is due to cosmic forces, to planetary influences. But in men there
is no resistance whatever against these influences and there cannot
be any, because men are slaves. If they were MEN and were capable
of 'doing,' they would be able to resist these influences and refrain
from killing one another.
"But surely those who realize this can do something? If a sufficient
number of men came to a definite conclusion that there should be no
war, could they not influence others?"
"Those who dislike war have been trying to do so almost since
the creation of the world," said G. "And yet there has never
been such a war as the present. Wars are not decreasing, they are
increasing and war cannot be stopped by ordinary means. All these
theories about universal peace, about peace conferences, and so on,
are again simply laziness and hypocrisy. Men do not want to think
about themselves, do not want to work on themselves, but think of
how to make other people do what they want. If a sufficient number
of people who wanted to stop war really did gather together they would
first of all begin by making war upon those who disagreed with them.
And it is still more certain that they would make war on people who
also want to stop wars but in another way. And so they would fight.
Men are what they are and they cannot be different. War has many causes
that are unknown to us. Some causes are in men themselves, others
are outside them. One must begin with the causes that are in man himself.
How can he be independent of the external influences of great cosmic
forces when he is the slave of everything that surrounds him? He is
controlled by everything around him. If he becomes free from things,
he may then become free from planetary influences.
"Freedom, liberation, this must be the aim of man. To become
free, to be liberated from slavery: this is what a man ought to strive
for when he becomes even a little conscious of his position. There
is nothing else for him, and nothing else is possible so long as he
remains a slave both inwardly and outwardly. But he cannot cease to
be a slave outwardly while he remains a slave inwardly. Therefore
in order to become free, man must gain inner freedom.
"The first reason for man's inner slavery is his ignorance,
and above all, his ignorance of himself. Without self-knowledge, without
understanding the working and functions of his machine, man cannot
be free, he cannot govern himself and he will always remain a slave,
and the plaything of the forces acting upon him.
"This is why in all ancient teachings the first demand at the
beginning of the way to liberation was: "know thyself. [..]
"Although modern thought is aware of the existence of this principle
it has only a very vague idea of its meaning and significance. The
ordinary man of our times, even a man with philosophic or scientific
interests, does not realize that the principle 'know thyself' speaks
of the necessity of knowing one's machine, the 'human machine.' Machines
are made more or less the same way in all men; therefore, before anything
else man must study the structure, the function, and the laws of his
organism. In the human machine everything is so interconnected, one
thing is so dependent upon another, that it is quite impossible to
study any one function without studying all the others. In order to
know one thing, one must know everything. To know everything in man
is possible, but it requires much time and labor, and above all, the
application of the right method and, what is equally necessary, right
guidance. [...]
"How many times have I been asked here whether wars can be stopped?
Certainly they can. For this it is only necessary that people should
awaken. It seems a small thing. It is, however, the most difficult
think there can be because this sleep is induced and maintained by
the whole of surrounding life, by all surrounding conditions. [Laura's
note: in other words, The Matrix.] [...]
"Man's possibilities are very great. You cannot conceive even
a shadow of what man is capable of attaining. But nothing can be attained
in sleep. In the consciousness of a sleeping man his illusions, his
'dreams' are mixed with reality. He lives in a subjective world and
he can never escape from it. And this is the reason why he can never
make use of all the powers he possesses and why he always lives in
only a small part of himself."
I hope that, in the preceding quote, the reader was able to substitute
the idea of hyperdimensional Controllers for the "outside influences"
that Gurdjieff described as "planetary."
The point is, what he was saying is what the Cassiopaeans have said
repeatedly: we can do nothing AGAINST this Matrix control system as
long as we are controlled by it. And we are controlled by it in millions
of ways from our very birth. We were fed the programming of the Matrix
with the milk of our infancy. Many people think that to "know thyself"
is a simple matter of adopting a religion and acquiring faith and praying
for this "knowledge" to be handed out like Hallowe'en candy
or some special reward for just the right amount of suffering or self-denial.
Many New Age types talk about "going within" and having "revelations"
from the higher self, and they think that this is the process by which
one "knows" the self.
But please note the fact that, unless we fully know how the "machine"
works, (which is described in great detail in the Wave
Series) any such revelation is likely to be a further "program"
of the Matrix. And this is, in the end, the entire purpose of the Wave
Series on this site. To bring together all of the many pieces of the
puzzle of the Human Machine that has been created by the Matrix Control
System, and to reveal the inner workings and hidden mechanisms of control
so that people can Awaken!
This is also the objective of the Cassiopaeans. They did not begin
their communication to deliver endless meaningless monologues on love
and light and prayer and thinking nice thoughts. Their arrival was in
response to a very specific and persistently repeated request for Truth.
The Truth that can set us free. We have shared the process of our own
initiation, our own awakening, painful and protracted though it was,
and have sought, as a service, to share this with others who are similarly
seeking to awaken. Naturally, those who just want channeled pap, to
trade the Old Boss for a New Boss, have many criticisms to make about
these pages and the way I have chosen to present the material. None
of them have taken the time to read all of it and to fully grasp that
their very acts of criticism, which they choose rather than creating
out of their own interior fullness, are simply symptoms of their sleep
in the Matrix.
The following conclusion is from one of the Wave
Pages, and I hope that everyone will read the Wave
series in its entirety, and that they will thereafter consider deeply
the forces behind our leaders, behind those who commit acts of terrorism,
and understand that "we are not wrestling with flesh and blood
- contending only with physical opponents - but against the despotisms,
against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness,
against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly sphere."
(Ephesians 6:12)
The most interesting thing to me about the Cassiopaeans Communication
has been the exponential growth in my awareness, my life force, my ability
to truly discern and navigate through dangers that previously would
have (and did) devastated me physically, mentally and emotionally. And
it seems that it is because they are, in effect, "deprogramming"
our minds through their often frustrating interactions that challenge
our minds, break down our illusions and delusions, and more than anything,
make us THINK.
They are NOT here to present a whole new "cosmology" or system
of religion or worship. They are here to help us break free of the programming
we have been under for the past many thousands of years. Yes, sometimes
what they say is shocking, uncomfortable, controversial, or just plain
infuriating! I have been so upset with them on occasions that I refused
to "talk" to them for weeks on end. One correspondent even
said they were "arrogant." They have been called "cold
and cruel" because they won't coddle anyone. Many people have thought
"Oh! Goody! A new channeled source where I can go and get confirmation
of my ideas or the teachings of so and so that I like so much!"
and the Cassiopaeans will gently inform them that they need to get rid
of their assumptions and open their minds. Of course, such people always
think that they DO have open minds because they have escaped the "old
time religion" and are now "on the right track" with
Swami So-and-so, or Lord Sandyanda of the Galactic Federation (who was
really Jesus Christ in another reality) or whatever.
So they drag all their assumptions and elaborate castles in the air
to the session and, when they don't get the answers they want, they
run back to the warmth and comfort of other sources that WILL give them
the answer to every question they ask - even if the answer is later
proves to be wrong or simply does not hold up to rational review or
simple research. The most classic example of this is in the following
exchange:
Q: (L) Any other questions? (RC) I'm not going to ask because they
didn't really answer what I wanted to hear.
Go figure.
Let's just have one last look at what Mr. Patrick, "Black
Lightning" had to say about deprogramming before we move on
to the next, and final section on mind programming:
"Deprogramming is like taking a car out of the garage that hasn't
been driven for a year. The battery has gone down, and in order to
start it up you've got to put jumper cables on it. It will start up
then, but if you turn the key off right away it will go dead again.
So you keep the motor running until it builds up its own power. This
is what rehabilitation is. Once we get the mind working, we keep it
working long enough so that the person gets in the habit of thinking
and making decisions again."
And that is, in essence, the purpose of the Cassiopaeans as they have
stated over and over again. If you are looking for a new "prophet"
or a new "system of belief," you might as well look elsewhere
right now. Take the "blue pill" and be done with it!
Men fear thought as they fear nothing else on earth - more than death.
Thought is subversive, and revolutionary, destructive and terrible;
thought is merciless to privilege, established institutions, and comfortable
habits; thought is anarchic and lawless, indifferent to authority,
careless to the well-tried wisdom of the ages. Thought looks into
the pit of hell and is not afraid... Thought is great and swift and
free, the light of the world, and the chief glory of man.
But if thought is to become the possession of the many, and not the
privilege of the few, we must have done with fear. It is fear that
holds men back - fear that their cherished beliefs should prove delusions,
fear lest the institutions by which they live should prove harmful,
fear lest they themselves prove less worthy to the respect than they
have supposed themselves to be. [Bertrand Russell, Education
and the Good Life; 1926]
