Unlimited Energy and Doomsday Scenarios Part I

Excellent Podcast, and the issues it raises are very important. Here are two that made an impression on me:

1) Why do we need this new energy if there is unlimited oil?

2) Can this new energy really help the world as it is today?

1) Regarding the first question, we have but to consider what was said about the Chinese: I they used as much energy per person as Americans, we would need another planet. Assuming, however, that we have unlimited oil, what would happen if everyone used that resource to the extent that Americans do in terms of pollution. Iran is persuing nuclear energy because even with it's oil it is suffering from a serious pollution problem. China, which is not expending as much petrol energy as the US has similar problems in its big cities.

What would happen to the air on this planet if we used as much petrol energy as we wanted, which would probably be as much energy as we could use? What would the effect on global warming be then? Personally, I believe if a clean source is available we should use it for the sake of our environment if nothing else.

2) This is an even more practical issue than the previous one. Given the attrocities perpetrated today in the name of oil (if oil is not a scapegoat here), to what lengths would the global Pathocracy go if philanthropists or independent groups began attempting to use this energy?

I it is not farfetched to consider that the military industrial complex will build these new H-bombs described in the Podcast for the express purpose of blasting anyone attempting to build fusion plants for clean, unlimited energy. Since there is no lingering radiation, they need not even alert the public or make wars, just plant the bombs where needed.

It stands to reason that such energy will turn into the bane of anyone attempting to benefit from it without the approval of the PTB. And the way they are, it also stands to reason that this energy will be free and unlimited only for them. For everyone else, they will make sure it is costly and regulated. That is why they are probably saving it for when everything is under their control. Then, such energy will make it all the easier for them to shape the world in their hideous image.

So unless people can find a way to build invisible fusion generators and provide energy without the PTB being able to detect it, these psychopaths will use every resource possible to make an example of them. And if everyone does it simultaneously in many countries, they will simply make up some mad terrorist who hits people at random, although it will so happen that some of the victims will be running/building fusion generators.

All in all this is a fine, post-Pathocracy energy resource, and the only thing that will come of promoting it during this reign of psychopaths is to bring them out in the open, especially if all people become aware that such energy is available. In that case, it will be no less than all out war between the masses and the pathocrats, and we know the latter have a thing for preemptive strikes.

On the other hand, it may not be such a bad idea to have people be aware of how desperate the powers the rule them are for them to be at their beck and call. Having the carrot of unlimited clean energy waived in front of people and witnessing the PTB snatch it away wherever it pops up might wake up a lot of people in the end. But at what cost?

Hi Esoquest,

We raised the issue of oil not to suggest that other sources aren't necessary. It is clear what the use of petrochemicals is doing to the planet. We were trying to make the point that there already exists enough resouces to go around, to assure the minimum necessary for every individual on the planet. The problem is somewhere else. And if that something doesn't change, then the scenario you elaborate in point 2 will certainly be the outcome.

We pursue this idea in much greater depth in part two next week.

The signs of the times herald a new age. It is close at hand. Will it be better, will it be even more dreadful than the present one? The precipice is within inches of the summit. Every one of us contributes in a certain measure to the course events takes. Let us be conscious of our responsibility

Yes, I understand your point, and that is why I said that my second question is of more practical significance. I just wanted to express that I also understood Prof. Petit's argument as to why such an energy source could do great good to humanity. I've been involved myself in less dramatic research involving using certain metal catalysts to break water into hydrogen and oxygen, and also remove salt from sea water using similar catalytic methods. And it is quite tempting to believe that all you have to do is give the discovery to the masses and all will be well. Yet, as Prof. Petit also said, every technological development is a double edged blade.

And I am in total agreement that the way things stand the blade tends to swing one way, the destructive way. Personally, it became very hard for me to do research knowing that my creativity would most likely contribute to human suffering. I would like to see any scientist with a conscious refuse to do research for the PTB until and if things can change, but that is just a dream, as food must be put on the table.

We are at a technological level where ALL the major material problems causing suffering on this planet can be resolved right now if there was concerted will to do so. As such, the issues you are addressing are of paramount importance, and I am looking forward to your next podcast presentation. Keep up the good work!
