Cricket:
I was wondering, what software are you using to produce the podcasts? What are your microphones? The rescent ones have the levels some 5-6 Db low. Try "Normalize". 99 or 99.5% is okay.
I wish to ask if it is possible for you to also inform, besides the download link, the precice weight of the file, yes? (on old download layout this was not accurate). This allows me, and all of course, to calculate time and leave machine working, instead of to guess.

Thank you.

Mr. Scott:
We are going to make some more changes to the podcast box we are currently using on the page to make it a bit more friendly, so we will incorporate the file size as well.

We'll also start normalizing the podcasts again. It's an easy step to forget when the level sounds okay on our machines and we're trying to get the podcast up as quickly as possible.

Thanks for the feedback!

dantem:
Firefox 1.5 get repeatedly stuck when playing the podcast, what can I do?

Is there a way to download the mp3 files?

Thanks

Hi,

For the current podcasts listed on the latest podcast page, if you click the name of the podcast, a little dropdown "menu" should appear that contains links for the small and large MP3 versions of each podcast.

We are working on getting a "podcast homepage" done that will include a list of all the podcasts with download links.

Until then, you can find all the old podcast pages at:

http://signs-of-the-times.org/podcast/podcast_20060107.htm

Just click on the "Episode" you'd like to listen to, and the appropriate page will load with download links.

Alternatively, you can try getting the latest version of the Flash plugin if you don't have it already at http://www.macromedia.com.

Scott

Thanks Scott, followed the instructions. Anyway I think I'm going to go formatting a drive or two here... :-)
Or maybe it's the 1.5 ver. that got bugs?
