I haven't really had much luck in finding inexpensive excipient-free vitamins etc. but here are some places I have found them although pricey.  If anyone finds sources that are cheaper that would be great!

Botaniorganics - the site says Aloha Bay candles but has vitamins and minerals under their Botani Organics brand.  You can find the links for the supplements on the left hand side of the page towards the bottom.  The have vitamin C, Calcium, and multi-vitamins.

Mercola - I guess everyone knows this one.  I don't know if all their products are excipient free, but the ones we order seem to be (Probiotics, Ubiquinol, Krill Oil).

Bio Alternatives - lots of stuff here including ALA, NAC, ALC, etc. (NOTE: Check each product because not all are excipient free)

Also, the brand "Pure Encapsulations" seems to be excipient free, and we buy these from different places off of Amazon.com.

We have ordered at least 2 or 3 times from each site and had no problems, but boy the hit in the checkbook is painful

Thank both for this information, the brown rice powder is considerably cheaper, at GBP11.95/kilo, than my current supplier, red23, of Sun Warrior Protein Raw vegan Natural powder at GBP39.99/kilo!

Thanks for the links for EU members. Supplements are indeed difficult to get and pricey.

I did order a couple of time from Energetica Natura (http://www.energeticanatura.com/epages/Energetica.sf/fr_FR/?ViewObjectID=3372), website in french and dutch languages, which was recommended by my naturopath, but I find the supplements very expensive there, and you can't order directly from the website (so far) : you have to pass a phone call.

Something else was bothering me : in a detox multi-supplement I noticed the use of magnesium aspartate, which is cheaper, but less efficient than magnesium orotate.

I'm attempting to source supplements for Acetylcholine support (ref Mark Hyman)- GPC support.  Glycerophosphocholine (or is it Glycerophosphorylcholine?), in the form of CDP Choline or Citicholine from UK sources would cost me GBP7+ per day at the prescribed levels, which is out of the question.  The Canadian site that I use for probiotics doesn't do it, so I'm looking for a worthy, proven US site, etc, that ships to the UK and supplies the supplement at a reasonable price. 

As a backup, or addition, I have just taken delivery of Acetyl-L-carnitine, I think this is doing a different job though I may be wrong. Thanks for any help forthcoming.

Has anyone found Niacin in excipient-free form?  I've spent a lot of time looking for it and just did more searches tonight and everything I find has stearates and/or other excipients in it.

currently I'm on a search for supplements for a heavy metal detoxification and I found a very good seller in Germany. Or so it looks to me.

The prices are really favourable compared to many other sellers in Germany and also to America (90 capsules of DMSA for 39.90 Euros, 360 for 144 Euros). And it is also maybe safer to get these things, cause of eventually problems with customs, cause of importing these supplements and (eventually) paying fees on top of an order from 22-150 Euros with a surcharge of 19% . Other products are: Alpha-Lipoic acid, L-Glutathione, Vitamin D3 ... .

On the website they state that they are producing these supplements themself and after orthomolecular principles.

So far, they state that no other ingredients are in it, for example in DMSA: 100 mg DMSA, 250 mg filler of Mannit (a sweetener) and 100 mg Cellulose. Nonetheless I asked them, what about gluten and milk. I will see what they respond.

I recently finished The UltraMind Solution and wanted to put the extremely interesting information into action in my own life. Based on the quizzes I found out that I needed to order a lot of vitamins and other supplements. Since I am not used to taking supplements or vitamins trying to find my way in the jungle of products was quite overwhelming. Initially, I thought I would just order the supplements off Dr. Hyman's website but when I had selected the supplements for the Basic 6-week Program and Key 1: Optimize your Nutrition, my cart exceeded $ 1,000 for two months worth of products .

First of all that is just not economically feasible. Secondly, the Hyman website only ships within the US. I wanted to find a solution that was affordable and feasible so I spent a couple of days researching products that would cost no more than half of the price of Dr. Hyman's suggestions while containing the same components in at least the same amounts. I read many of the recommendations on the Forum and that helped select manufacturers and specific products.

I had a hard time deciding whether I should select only products that were completely Magnesium Stearate free but in the end decided against it as it would be too expensive. Instead, I settled for products that used only Magnesium Stearate from vegetable sources as a compromise. All supplements are wheat/soy/dairy/gluten free.

To keep costs down I chose to use only one site for all products and settled for www.iherb.com. While the total costs is still $ 6.05 per day it would have cost $ 12.86 at the Hyman website so I consider it to be a good start. Regarding shipping to the US there is no problem. iHerb also ships to Europe but as those of you who live in Europe know you will have to pay VAT and import tax which makes everything a lot more expensive and your saving has more or less disappeared. There are sites such as www.shipito.com where you use their address as the US address (you can ship one or more packages and they can bundle them together if necessary) and on their website you fill out the customs form describing the contents and the value of the items shipped which will then serve as the basis for VAT and import tax calculations. I have not yet tried them myself so I can't recommend them from personal experience. Moderators: if you consider the mention of shipito.com to be in violation of Forum rules please delete that part. Also, I am not sure if this post a little bit off topic as there is no new websites so maybe it should be started as a separate thread.

Just one small note - you really don't need a calcium/magnesium supplement!  You only need Magnesium (for at least a year) until you get levels up so your body can actually utilize calcium.  Magnesium Citrate, Magnesium Malate or Magnesium Taurate are the recommended forms.  You also will never get enough Magnesium using a multi-vitamin, you need one of the forms listed above in a higher dosage.  You've posted in the Magnesium Miracle thread, so maybe re-reading it will help clarify.

Also, you might want to get input from Psyche regarding what supplements are actually crucial right now, so you can focus on the most important for now, perhaps saving some cost (though it might not help much...)?
