I am very interested to do more translation work! It makes fun, will keep my current level of English skills "lubricated" as well as improve them. I see also a very good facility to learn from the content of the articles, works etc. by translating them. Therefore it's a learning opportunity also and I thank you for providing that to me. But I cannot engage in it very much at the moment, as I have to concentrate myself to finish university this spring and summer. But although this is the case, I really would like to help you [and the others in the translation group] with translating as much as I can temporally afford.

Ich bin sehr daran interessiert, mehr Übersetzungsarbeit zu tun! Es macht Spaß, wird meine jetzige Ebene an Englisch-Fertigkeiten "geölt" halten sowie sie verbessern. Ich sehe auch eine gute Möglichkeit, vom Inhalt der Artikel, Arbeiten etc. zu lernen, indem ich sie übersetze. Daher ist es auch eine gute Lerngelegenheit und ich danke Dir dafür, mir das anzubieten. Aber ich kann mich im Moment nicht viel damit befassen, da ich mich darauf konzentrieren muss, die Universität in diesem Frühjahr und Sommer abzuschließen. Aber obgleich das der Fall ist, würde ich Dir [und den anderen in der Übersetzungsgruppe] gerne mit dem Übersetzen helfen, so viel wie ich es mir zeitlich leisten kann.

how can I join the translation group and what kind of translation work needs to be done? If there is nothing in particular, I would like to continue on a translation of the January SOTT article about the Underwear Bomber, that I had already begun around that time, for my parents who only speak very little English. wie kann ich der Übersetzungsgruppe beitreten und welche Art der Übersetzungsarbeit muss getan werden? Wenn es nichts Bestimmtes [zu tun] gibt, würde ich gerne mit einer Übersetzung des SOTT-Artikels vom Januar über den Unterhosen-Bomber fortfahren, den ich um diese Zeit bereits begonnen habe - für meine Eltern, die nur wenig Englisch sprechen. Danke.
