I am still baffled by 9/11/2001 being in the first Matrix movie from 1999, along with all the other symbolism that is in the movie.

Has there ever been a good explanation how the 9/11/2001 date got into the Matrix movie?

I think that 99 % of the people don't know that this is in the movie,

If you read through the material here on the forum on 9/11 and the WTC, you'll find even more evidence that it 'stinks to high heaven'.  Have you had a chance to read 9/11 The Ultimate Truth yet?

Basically, Bush Sr. coined the term "New World Order" in a speech on September 11, 1990. Since the first movie is full of symbology and symbolic references, this might be one of them.

However, they still got the year right... 2001. A bit too much for a coincidence.
