Ya - bump keys - which is sort of like a universal key for a particular lock type. This means it's nearly child's play to open most door locks:

Yeh, thanks for that RedFox. That video exactly shows what I was trying to say about how you can twist the protruding barrel (if it sticks out too much), so as to snap the lock barrel in the middle, the weakest point.
In the same test as what's in the video, as far as I understand it at the moment, if it was the Avocet ABS lock in the video, it wouldn't snap in the middle, it would snap at an insignificant point nearer to the outside, and the thief wouldn't be able to access the lock mechanism.
