I just want to add to Data's posts that the work in the SOTT group is a good training in rewiring one's brain and connecting the dots and improving one's abilities to think. An important part of the Work is to know about world affairs and tying it into the big picture of existence.
So by becoming a SOTT editor, you'll work for the cause of truth (=working on spreading a signal in the grand sea of noise), you'll help others (=giving back to the network) and you'll also help yourself, because it's a new learning experience; and learning leads to growth.
Another aspect is: how many of us have jobs that simply have no meaning other than to earn money? We all know the effect of wearing down when doing such jobs. Working for SOTT is working with meaning and thus soul-nourishing.
So in other words, the time has come to get off the fence and join the creative side of life. Paraphrasing another group member here: It's about making a committment and by one's actions standing up for the one thing that counts in this world: truth.
Ich möchte zu Datas Post nur noch hinzufügen, dass die Arbeit in der SOTT - Gruppe ein gutes Training für die Neuvernetzung des Gehirns ist und dafür, die Punkte zu verbinden und seine Fähigkeiten, zu denken zu verbessern. Ein wichtiger Teil der Arbeit ist das Wissen um die Weltgeschehnisse und diese in das große Ganze der Existenz einzubinden.
Ein anderer Aspekt ist dieser: Wieviele von uns haben Jobs, die einfach keinen Sinn haben außer dem des Geldverdienens? Wir alle kennen den zermürbenden Effekt davon, solche Jobs auszuüben. Das Arbeiten für SOTT hingegen hat Sinn und ist daher Nahrung für die Seele.
Indem man also ein SOTT - Redakteur wird, arbeitet man für die Wahrheit (=indem man das 'Signal' in dem großen Meer von 'Rauschen' verbreitet), man hilft anderen (=dem Netzwerk zurückgeben) und man hilft auch sich selbst, da dies eine neue Lernerfahrung ist; und Lernen führt zu Wachstum. In anderen Worten: Die Zeit ist gekommen, um vom Zaun herunterzusteigen und sich der kreativen Seite des Lebens anzuschließen. Um die Worte eines anderen Mitglieds der Gruppe zu umschreiben: Es geht um Einsatz und darum, mit seinen Handlungen für die einzige Sache, die in dieser Welt zählt einzustehen: die Wahrheit.
