There might be something else of interest on this site, but again, it's not in English. _http://2012god.ru/forum/forum-6/topic-1780/page-1/
In case someone interested, here is translation[...]
The discussion in regards to sounds was hot. Many witnesses have heard the sound, but could not identiy the source. Other witnesses and people living nearby heard the sound and with confidence identified the source, but for some reason their opinions were absolutely different. From the beginning presumably the debunking videos (fakes) were made, but only with an intention to get in touch with authors of the videos (including me, Yana, Sinegorie and monakh). At the same time accounts of Sinegorie and his friends were hacked, from which someone communicated from their name with me and Yana to fish for information... (bolded by agni)[...]
This thread has 100 pages, and I went through 10 so far (may take a while, so it's great, agni, that you also go over it). And they do have some interesting stuff there. As agni translated, they begun with voice analysis, then went to compare Kiev's noise frequency (apparently - 140 Hz (C#) Low octave - was predominant) with the frequency of bus engines (?) until someone mentioned about tectonic moves and how it could produce these kind of sounds.
They listened to earthquake sounds from
here, and although non of the sounds resembled Kiev's one, someone said that the second one on the list resembled the sound from Florida video.
Many of the people gave witness accounts of their friends, mothers, someone they know that heard something like this but thought that it is construction, something else, or just unknown. Also some of them posted that they lived or live in the area that underwent major construction work of all types, and they never heard sounds similar to Kiev's. One of them also said that he worked in the past in the media (news report) and he knows how they can manipulate news. He said that it wouldn't be surprising that the news report (the one in Ukrainian) was cooked and they didn't include witnesses that did hear something.
Now, there were couple of stories mentioned there that perhaps don't have a direct connection to the sounds, but they possibly could, if hearing the sounds is somehow connected to the topography and geological or other "underground" or otherwise features.
When someone mentioned tectonic plates, people looked for tectonic and geopathogenic zones of the region.
Here it is for Kiev. And then they also brought up the fact that Kiev (and its region) has a system of extensive underground tunnels. One of the "strange" places is Zverinetskaya Gora, a mountain that underneath supposedly was a secret scientific complex, and people saw all kind of strange things coming from its direction. But even before the complex, there are accounts dated to 19th century about strange pillars of light there, water standing like a wall, animals getting frozen in place, etc.
They bring up an account, when in 1988 people who lived around Botanic garden (located on this mountain) woke up from strong trembling. They went to their balconies and saw a strong light high up in the skies that started to rapidly approach the earth. When it almost hit the ground, it became a fire and burned like this for 15 minutes, then became a light again and disappeared into the sky. The incident repeated for couple of days, and then the place was flooded with police, authorities and journalists, but no conclusion was reached (officially, of course).
Also, another person, who before sharing his info made sure to mention that he doesn't believe in god or little green men

, wrote about three incidents. One involving his employee who came to work with a scratch on his nose. He asked him what happened, and his worker answered that he was sitting in front the computer when he suddenly heard trumpets and the light went off. He stood up to check on the light and bumped into a door. Another story was him and his friend noticing a strange object in the sky that moved without a sound and wasn't an airplane.
His third story is most unusual, imo, and drew my attention because it was very similar to what was described in a "Don't go to Albuquerque" part of the Wave. He said that his friends (one of them is a grandfather 70 years old) were driving back from a market on a straight highway. There were no cars, so they were driving 130km/h. But suddenly the driver started to drop speed. The driver (a woman) wasn't drunk or anything like this. The rest asked her what happened. And she said that the road was going "down" (under an angle). Others looked and were surprised, they saw the same thing, the road was curved down. After a while it sorted itself out and became straight again, but they are still in great shock.
So I don't know if there is any truth in what they say, but it does sound interesting and makes one wonder if there is indeed any connection between the sounds and specific locations. Maybe the gravity "opens up" other things as well, including manifestation of anomalies.
Oh, and here is a video of Moscow sounds
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDu5KLEM-y4&feature=player_embeddedposte don 23d of August. Don't know if it was already brought up here.
