It looks like the movie Soylent Green was not only a movie but might be a premonition. We live in a wicked wicked world.
It has come to my attention if you use products created by Nestle, Kraft, Cadbury, Starbucks, PepsiCo, and until recently Campbells and Solae, you are using products created in part by testing on aborted fetuses. That's right, aborted fetuses are used under the name of “artificial flavors” to test these products.

Al Today:
Years back, I had a gig at Nestle Special Products Division. Artificial flavors were developed there, amongst other products. This one time, I was in a test. They placed on a table things that looked like coin sized, flat round WHITE wafers. Every one was white. I was asked to try them, one at a time and tell them what flavor I taste. Quite amazing how they made flavors with no natural (raw earthly) ingredients. Root Beer, Blueberry, Chocolate, Strawberry, and lots, lots more. All man made, nothing natural about those bad boys. Their work area looked like what you would expect a research laboratory to look like. Spotless sanitary conditions, people wearing white smocks, pocket protectors, kitchen gadgets and chemical/electronic research devices all around. We used to call them the mad scientists.

Seems I was correct. They are what a Sci-Fi movie would call a mad scientist.

That's kinda creepy (if true), but I don't see it as unethical as long as they don't put dead fetuses in their food. It's not that multinationals aren't unethical for other reasons tho...

Fwiw, I used to work for a biochemist who told me that fresh out of college he was hired as a researcher for a large food corporation where they monitored people’s brain activity while consuming various substances. When the areas responsible for addiction lit up, they added the ingredient to the product.

He said Oreos has 28 of these.

Mad scientists indeed.
