Using mms for spayed dog
« on: January 25, 2013, 11:22:09 PM »
I am going to have my dog spayed and would like to know if someone can comment on using mms spray or DMSO to spray on the incision to help it heal.  Would this sting in any way.   Also is pharmaceutical grade DMSO suitable for internal use for adults and animals.
Any other comments regarding efforts to help the healing process would be greatly appreciated.

We've used a diluted DMSO solution (with distilled water) to spray on wounds of dogs and humans with very good results.  As with anything, you should do your own research and understand the properties of anything you use in this respect.

When our cat was spayed, she was a bit angry at us for a bit but she didn't seem to suffer at all.
He who learns must suffer
And even in our sleep pain that cannot forget
Falls drop by drop upon the heart,
And in our own despair, against our will,
Comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God.

DMSO is GREAT, I use it on both my animals and myself.

MMS however, is POISON!  You might want to read this thread
