Actually, I was just thinking about printing the words on simple address labels that you can get pretty cheap and can design in Word pretty easily.   Like "Quantum Future: SOTT.net"  and "Quantum Future: Eiriu Eolas"  and "Quantum Future: Dot Connector"  "Quantum Future: Cassiopaea" -  that sort of thing.

Now, if we could only get some terrific graphic artists to get the word out... and maybe someday, hire some billboards or get a few TV spots...

I like this idea too.

Google has lower cost TV advertising that might be doable.

Here's a youtube video explaining how Slate did it, how much they spent and what their results were:

Pashalis:
I was searching for how to make stickers easy at home and found this little guy :

how to make home made stickers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jLdM96fcPiw&feature=related

I searched for pictures on google and redesigned via Power Point and changed the writings a bit partly into my language (german)
that is the result as of yet:

then I duplicated those pictures on "Word" :

then I printed them , cut each one out and followed what that boy did. now I have 8 Stickers (more or less water proofed) even though I think there must be a better or improved technique to make them more easy and more professional..

I'll think I go out this evening and put some up in the city near by

Pashalis:
can you give me a short feedback on the first sticker ?

while I'm thinking about it maybe it could be misconceived by the people who read this ?
but thinking again it says essentially " Attention! SOTT" the first two lines are in english the second two are the same in german (but with the link to the german SOTT) not mentioning what exactly "Attention" means in that context. I guess this will make some interested in finding out why there is "Attention!"?.
but in the other hand it could be interpreted as "Attention ! SOTT" is dangerous....

IMO it depends how elaborate it should get. More elaborate means, that it would be then useful to let it professional print.
I will see with what I can come up and work on some examples, logos are also useful to remember and I will keep it simple.

And Alada did the "older" EE brochure if I remember it correctly:

Some logos5x5…

And there are always these versions available for printing:

The German counterparts are here (not all are published yet):

And for the German folks I still have a lot flyers around with the older cropcircle pictures and some psychopath rule the world flyers (high quality postcards).

Pashalis feedback: The colour catches the eye but layout is a bit dodgy and may detract from memory caching interest. I think small messages like stickers that are to be read in passing have to be brief and to the point. De.Sott.Net (zeichen der zeit) would be sufficient, imo.
