Ice Age Precursors
« on: March 30, 2012, 10:39:40 PM »
I ran across this video series on YouTube a couple weeks ago:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XFy75dIc4Q

Whoever put it together is missing some key points here and there, the most important of which is probably knowledge of psychopathy (there's one point where some suggestions about how to prepare for the coming ice age are probably naively utopian), so it's not perfect. That being said, I like the way that they integrate information about climate change with the Electric Universe theory -- there's a lot of good scientific info that's been synthesized into a handy package. Feel free to discuss, as well as point out any flaws that you happen to see.

Just watched the first video,

When he mentions that if we want to keep our present way of life such as agriculture, we would need to move the vulnerable agricultural zones further south, it brought to mind all the governments buying land in Africa.

Also curiously, if you look at his map:

It follows very closely, the regions that are being destabilized such as North Africa, Iran, etc. Maybe that is one of the reasons that they want to take out Iran, to gain complete control of the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman. But, back to watching it.
For to know our past we may conjecture about our future. and to know our future is to be able to divine our purpose in a cosmic sense. And having done that, our priorities may be ordered accordingly so that we will no longer groan under the weight of feeling cast adrift in an uncaring & hostile universe - orphans of the cosmos - playthings of the gods. -- Laura Knight-Jadczyk The Noah Syndrome

That was the one thing that bothered me too -- there's always a chance that it's conscious vectoring, but even if it's not and the intentions are good, it's the kind of thing that pathocrats could jump on and say "this is why we need to take control of Africa."

Good point -- that would be part of the ice-free zone when an ice age hit, presuming that all other variables (such as the Earth's axis) remain stable.

It's interresting that they link the ice age cycles to the electric phenomena but they shift early to the save the agriculture thing.
