I read this article this morning and I am stunned. I don't understand what is happening in this beautiful country who is still my country even if I don't live anymore there. But our project is to return to Canada. But seeing the things that are happening there, we are dubious.

Why oh why  British visitors to Canada have to be checked by USA? Can someone tell me? I don't understand. Is it something to do with Britain? But why visitors TO Canada? Is it something that will be expand to the rest of Europe? In one month maybe all visitors of Europe visiting Canada will have to be checked by USA? this news is very outrageous. For me is scandalous  to read something like this. If someone can explain why USA do that? If it is what I think: that there is no more Canada, no more country named Canada. Is that so? Maybe a Canadian can expand on this subject about the British travelers?

Little news like this one make me very nervous, yes indeed.

Thank you.

I sympathise, but you have to realise that we have been living under a global American empire for quite some time now. That's the overt part. The covert part is that we have been living under a one world government for a long time. Welcome to the 'brave new world'.

loreta:
Yes, you are right Perceval. And this is very sad.  But we can talk about it, see how the Empire is acting there and there, even here through our politicians in place...we know we are all under the foot of the Empire...but it is like we don't realise completely. Me, I mean. And then a news like this one that is almost something trivial (travel), is plain of sense, it is a little light that light up everything. Maybe we become aware of all THIS, understanding the little things, little news, little gestures, little decisions who finally form a big panorama. This is a little scary! And fascinating also. :scared: It always remind me the book by Sebastian Haffner, Defying Hitler. In fact this book made me aware of things that we don't give too much attention, like this news. We think: oh, it is not so important, ba.... just travelers. Just something bureaucratic... nothing important.... When in fact IT IS VERY IMPORTANT.

I agree totally. It should be pointed out to as many people as possible that these are very clear signs of the shadow of totalitarianism falling across the entire globe. No one is immune.

Caught these posts the other night and what Percival said seems exactly so.  Could add an analogy back to the times of Atlantis, if it was as described. The C's said that this was not basically a place or even a continent, (see Plato, too) it was like a type of Orwellian-speak, a "coalition of the willing", transcending boarders. In this respect, what you've pointed out loreta (Empires) is a frequency of entropic thought and action that has spread out from a nucleolus of fertile breading ground to the point where the "willing" are everywhere and there is no state, no sovereign identities anymore - just pretend. We are all in it together, despite the geographical boundaries and it being a little more overt in some places, however, even not there, the PTB are bending down to their masters who are not centralized, osit.

One thing that surprised me from the article, although had not thought about it, was that 70% of people in the US do not even have passports. Perhaps it is similar elsewhere too.
