I used to look at fractals a lot. When I happened across this animation today I noted that it is pretty high quality. Thought someone with time for a break might enjoy.

Awesome HowToBe,

You know, i really do think that that is how reality really is. If one isn't unified and starts to see something like that, alot of marbles will be lost.

That sense of endlessness, without a reference point (the self), one is lost.

Anyways, thanks for sharing, this is going in my smoking collection.  ;)
For to know our past we may conjecture about our future. and to know our future is to be able to divine our purpose in a cosmic sense. And having done that, our priorities may be ordered accordingly so that we will no longer groan under the weight of feeling cast adrift in an uncaring & hostile universe - orphans of the cosmos - playthings of the gods. -- Laura Knight-Jadczyk The Noah Syndrome

Amazing fractals, HowToBe.

Here's one older one from Charles Eames, the designer called the "Power of Ten" . not as flashy but it gets the considerable scale of things.

Ah, yes!  :) I've seen it before. Always seems to kind of stretch the mind.
