Question about forum

I have a question regarding the forum and acessing
Certain links. I have tried to do numerous things like open pages, read posts etc... And keep getting a popup
That says " you are not allowed to view this page"
Is this normal? Or is there a setting or something I need to change??

Some of the boards are restricted to those with under 50 posts on the forum.

Also sometimes people post links to topics on the (private) Fellowship of the Cosmic Mind forum which is for members of the fellowship only.
