Age And "Time"

Time is also change, and Time changes us. We can see that notion in Proust also. How Time can transform us. But I see ourselves as beings that live in and out of Time. Time is a fascinating subject, yes indeed.

So perhaps we need both not-time and time (or the illusion of it) so that we can transform?

I think that when we are in the middle of the no-time is where we can really work with ourselves, change, grow. But we have to live also in the time (or the illusion of it): we have to work, pay our bills, go here and there.

What is interesting in Proust is that at the end of the book the narrator see how everyone has changed. Time, the illusion of time, the Time that is like a prison, has transformed the people and made them like caricatures of themselves. Like little monsters. Maybe because they were just living in the Time that is an illusion. For Proust the important, the really important time is the other one, the one that gives insight. The no-time, the time that is silence and is a quest, an interior journey. This travel is a time travel, a very intimated travel that uses the memory to unravel who we are. It is important to pay our bills, in this illusion of time that it is really a prison but it is more important to be able to be in that other time, where time is like an ocean.

The C's have said time is an illusion of this density, they have said it does not exist, yet we remain in the grip of its illusion.

All of the the previous ideas I believe are true, but they are true for this density only. Thinking about how much longer we take to do a task, to consider that as we grow older that time becomes less due to fractions, is all true if we continue to see time as an intrinsic experience of our life.  Our life is broken into time segments, your twenties, your thirties, your childhood, your adulthood, your youth, your old age, are all time marked events. 

Time does not move faster.

Children today, will feel the same as we did in our childhood, long lasting summers, days waiting till our birthdays, they are experiencing the same time as us.  But we think it is speeding up. But that is crazy, how can it, it is the same for the children as it is for the adults, separate clocks do not exist.

We are a time focused density, everything is measured in time, vast distances are measured in years. Whatever I think, in terms of how everything is whizzing by, I also know that this same time I experience is being experienced by a child as 'forever'.

It is only an illusion.

For me, the closest feel about the speeding time as one ages would be as Luc described:

And to add on all the interesting things having been said, recently i have really been enjoying working with masters-craftmen (clay work) and it is simply a big lesson every time when they dont really follow the time in sense of watching it. They watch the material working, drying, and waiting for the right moment to move on step by step. I am the one telling them what time it is to get some food and not always i succeed. It really feels so silly now when i think of it. Would you tell anyone what time it is?

I think the above captures it well. When we are in the creative "outbreath" of non-anticipation, "time" is meaningless.

6D keeps repeating, "Time as you measure it." So let us consider tyme. Tyme is as 6D measures it. They say the Wave intersects Earth in 2014. Using myself as example: I am creating the Wave because it is my choice to experience breaking out of this reality. So the Wave has consciousness as a parameter, not "time". Tyme is thus a measure of consciousness.

Humanity will manifest the Wave when, coincidentally, their clocks tell them it is 2014. The digits in 2014 add up to seven.

I think you need to be cautious there.  They didn't say specifically that the Wave would intersect with the Earth in 2014, so you shouldn't make that statement.  They have suggested that something happens in 2014 that results in 'year zero' whatever that means - but it's really quite open what that means.

Oh... well that opens the future up for me. I had automatically assumed "0 new year" was caused by the Wave.

The way I feel about time seems to be opposite then most of the posts I have read. To me as a child I felt as if time flew by? Sure the months and years seemed longer yet I remember constantly  thinking how I would be an adult faster then all of my friends felt. And now at 34 I do feel as if the months and years just drag by. Maybe it is because I am not as busy as I used to be? Or could it be that I am wanting to just hurry up and be done with this life? I'm not sure?? Does anybody relate to the way I view time??

Well i think that i noticed that time is passing differently while performing same actions on different occasions.. One time 'time' is flowing smoothly and on another event  - seems almost to stop or soooo slow-flow.

I think time itself-is running out of time 

Time maybe ceasing to exist.

Well i think that i noticed that time is passing differently while performing same actions on different occasions.. One time 'time' is flowing smoothly and on another event  - seems almost to stop or soooo slow-flow.

Yes, it also makes me think about the term "time flies when you're having fun" - which is really true for me. 

But I remember when I spent time at work in a dead end job, not doing what I loved and dealing with really bad customers sometimes the day seemed to go on forever...
