ETA?

I'm new here, and please pardon my relative ignorance, but is there an ETA for the wave? Judging by the material the C's provided, it should be fairly soon.
I'm always up for a new adventure. Should I be waxing up the surfboard?
I'm also curious about the "shape" of this wave. Is it sinusoidal, or more of a square wave (curtain) with an abrupt change in density? What would be the effect if I'm in the middle of making a tuna-fish sandwich and the wave comes through?
This whole wave theory is intriguing. 3D holds little fascination for me anymore and an upgrade in perception would be welcome. I know there's no free lunch, but I'm more than willing to do the work to get there.
Anyway, if this topic is old hat, or has been talked to death in another thread, please point me in the right direction.

We recommend all new members to post an introduction in the Newbies section telling us a bit about themselves, how they found the cass material, and how much of the work here they have read.

As for your questions, some time spent using the search function here on the forum will give you plenty to think about.

Welcome to the forum, Average Joe. What material of Laura's have you read so far (re: your questions about the wave)?

I've read High Strangeness and am about half way through the Wave series. The amount of material is a bit overwhelming, but I'm not new to alternative theories of our "reality". My son gave me High Strangeness with a caveat saying, "This one's a bit weird even for you dad". I didn't think so as it filled in a lot of holes in the puzzle.
I had already read a lot of the supporting material Laura cites in her work, so fitting the C's information into my framework of understanding seemed natural. There is a strong part of me that only "believes it when I see it", but this work has a particular resonance with where I am in my journey right now.
Like many of the folks here, I have spent years trying to find out what's really going on. Just when I think I have a handle on things, I find that I don't. So I just continue accruing information and trying to process it into an understandable concept.
I remember reading somewhere about a group of people engaged in remote viewing. It was stated, among other things, that they were looking into future events but couldn't see beyond 2012. It was as though time beyond this year was altered or blocked. I could see this happening as a result of the wave arriving, which is one of the reasons for my curiosity.
I am also a student and dabbler in alternative energy generation. As you may be aware, "free" energy has been available since the days of Tesla, but has been systematically suppressed in favor of non renewable sources of energy which can be controlled. However, there are a number of technologies now in the stages of being brought to market which apparently aren't being stopped. LENR (cold fusion), the Noble Gas Engine, and a number of other revolutionary technologies are within a year of being commercially available. Why a sudden change of heart? Could it be that the forces of suppression know something we don't? Are they thinking that it doesn't matter since in a very short time it won't make any difference?
Quite a few of these types of "pieces" seem to be pointing to something significant happening in the very near future. I know anticipation is a 3D faux pas, but patience is not my long suit. I want to know when I need to fasten my seat belt.

Add to that the huge ramping up of police state measures, the state of the economy, and the level to which our society is now controlled and deprived of 'good' human qualities. Also the articles in the "catastrophism" section on cassiopaea.org give good insight into what we may face in terms of cosmic/earth changes. It's very clear we're heading for something very big, although the whole 2012 end of the world thing appears to be a distraction.
I would say if you're waiting for a time to start 'fastening your seatbelt', it's right now, and is done through self work. Diet changes, learning about our psychology, and the cleansing EE breathing program are the best tools we have for this, and no doubt you'll see them recommended often. Their effectiveness really cannot be overstated.
