While it helps to have a somewhat cavalier attitude of 'Bring it on!' when facing the unknown, I would caution forumites to temper their enthusiasm by remembering that it takes daily application of some very basic but important changes in order be anywhere near ready to ride the wave and not be crushed by it:

As the Cs said, it's all about "receivership ability" and that may have a LOT to do with genetic adjustments set in motion by diet.
It also has to do with Frequency Resonance Vibration (FRV) and that has a lot to do with what your body is composed of due to diet.
Well said. I agree with Kniall's cautionary note and would like to add:
In addition to the actual physical changes that appear to be necessary to "ride the wave and not be crushed by it," my understanding, and I could be way wrong here, is that the necessary mental and emotional changes required to advance appear to include a lot of acceptance and detachment from 3D life in sort of a "Catch 22" way. It will not be until we can accept where we are at here and do The Work, in spite of the chaos and oppression of 3D, without "passion," that we will be fit enough to move on.
As long as we are mourning and suffering the loss of our programmed vision (attachment) of how we want to experience our lives here, then we are stuck here until we learn to feel, do, and be differently. In other words, just when you have figured out how to make it here, cleaned your machine and are living with a balance of acceptance, peace, and joy regardless of your physical situation, you won't need to be here anymore--lessons learned. None of us will leave 3D, other than to go to 5D, without doing, serious, demanding, painful, Work to learn the lessons necessary for spiritual growth first--"There is no free lunch."
Trying to escape the pain and chaos by simply checking out ahead of schedule and heading for 5D early, is to my understanding, an express ticket back to 3D to finish learning the same lessons.
