Great job Niall!!!

It was really cool watching your interview  :cool2: hopefully there will be more to come.

 :headbanger:

Second that! And mentioning psychopaths in the end was also awesome!

Great job Niall!   The added exposure for SoTT and the truth is totally awesome!

And I'm with Keit on the psychopath comment. That was great that you threw that in there and if I'm not mistaken I think I saw their Athens correspondent shaking his head in agreement.  ;)

Good On Niall.
Imo, getting the last word in on psychopathy was extremely effective.
If I'm not mistaken, those watching an interview are most likely to remember more what is said at the start and end of the interview.
You brought out a lot of good points.
Looking forward to seeing you on more interviews.

Hands up to Niall Bradley for making a few salient points on PressTV.

Very good to see a Sott editor being interviewed by a bigger news outlet. The hard thing is always the time limit of such interviews where there also are others being interviewed, but a very good contribution

Interview can be seen here and probably soon on sott as well: http://www.presstv.ir/detail/2012/06/19/246920/greek-bailouts-resemble-feeding-beast/

Interview well worth listening to. All the people interviewed were in general agreement that this is a short term bandaid, which is not solving the systemic corrupt banking system.

It's great to see that Niall may be becoming a regular interviewee on PressTV. There was another one carried on SOTT a few weeks ago:

http://www.sott.net/articles/show/246169-US-Corporate-Media-ratings-plummet-as-Americans-turn-away-from-lies

in both interviews on Press TV they misspelled SOTT in the axact same way SCOTT.net at the beginning.
in the first interview they changed the "misspelling" only after it was pointed out to them.

in the new interview there is still the misspelling.
why is it so damn difficult to spell SOTT right ?

It has probably something to do with the software. Which man use to edit videos.
I could see it on G+, when I search for Sott articles. Then most of them which apeared are about Scott or from Scott. Also when I use my iPad I write SOTT in email or google search and push search in this moment the software change it automatically to Scott.

Congratulations. You are the only one that talked the truth: psychopathy on the high spheres of this mess. And the culprit: FMI.

It is always frustrating to listen to an interview at Press.tv. They are always "out of time". How come? Always out of time when it starts to be very interesting, when the reporters start to enter on the real subject, when we, listeners, start to understand. Then this is that "we are out of time". arrrrgh!

You are clear and intelligent, as a guest in a program of tv and as a writer of articles.

This program made me  almost cry: I think about Greek people, their sufferance, and the inhumanity of our leaders. And when I see Greece I also see Spain. And far away, but very near yes indeed, the totalitarianism,  this enormous beast that is showing is head and that so few are seeing.

Again, congratulation my friend!

Great job Niall!!!

I just watched the interview and, not only did you get the "P word" out, but you led up to it in a way that was really brilliant.  You managed to use each of your segments to slowly build up to it. Your understanding of the topic contrasted greatly with the other guests, both of whom did not take into perspective the main point:  who benefits?  Austerity is just another mask of sanity, and you showed that well, OSIT.   I think a lot of viewers will enjoy that, especially since they're probably sick of the political talk.  Great work, I was really impressed with your bravery.

Thanks everyone!

Only in the article they wrote Scott.net :(

It's a pity because when they have to correct that, they create a new URL so the original link becomes a dud.

I don't think it's a conspiracy against us, more like the web editor was falling asleep at whatever ungodly hour it was in Iran.

Quote from: Loreta
They are always "out of time". How come?

I think it's partly down to the fact that as a 24-hour news channel they keep a pretty tight schedule, and that it's partly done for effect. They don't really mean to cut me off, it's just what news anchors always sign off with! Maybe they want to leave the audience on the edge of their seats or something (and therefore, still watching their shows).

Press TV's policy of inviting 'citizen journalists' onboard as 'experts' - as opposed to the 'Pentagon experts' we see in the US media, for example - is part of a broader attempt to counter the propaganda war against Iran. By imitating CNN et al in style, format and presentation, I guess they make 'Infotainment' more palatable to Westerners, except that in this case 'The News' actually is, more often than not, reported.

It's not perfect of course, but it's a lot more 'signally' and a lot less noisy than most other media outlets.
It is wrong always, everywhere, and for anyone, to believe anything upon insufficient evidence.

that was what striked me the most too. The other speakers gave some critique about the system but it felt framed and contained - as in you can go that far but not furhter. You on the other hand adressed the root causes of what the others noticed, and that made all the difference. It is one thing to say that the people in side the system are corrupt and nothing will change, it is on a whole other level to say that all this is wanted and that corruption is only one of the side effects of a disease caused by psychopaths.

I also noticed that you used your hands while explaining. It is common advice not to do that, as it might distract viewers from what is said. I found it though honest, like using your whole body to explain what you wanted to explain.

I actually found the use of his hands to be quite effective and would not suggest that he stop doing that.  It was much more of a punctuating effect than a distracting one.

Good work, Kniall.

Maybe they want to leave the audience on the edge of their seats or something (and therefore, still watching their shows).

I think this must be it, because a few times I noticed that the person talking was in the middle of his last sentence when the host started cutting him off, making it feel a lot more 'exciting'.
