The Cs and EE

Hi there.  I have started EE about a month ago now.  It is very efficacious.  I was wondering, did the idea for EE come from the Cs?  If so, can you point me to the transcripts where they start to introduce EE?  I would be really interested to read about how EE came to be developed.
