Fireball over Russia

The Living Force
Or at least I think it is... There's an impressive tail on it. Weird how the bright tail seems to stop at a point, is that because of city lights stopping or due to some small missile shot at it?

Yeah, looks like it might be a rocket, maybe going from low altitude to high based on the trail? Not sure if fireball/comet fragments could do that, go from low altitude to high?

Yeah it is ascending, had a hard time telling first time. It's a weird trajectory for a rocket, cruising down main street and then upwards.

If they're using comets to try and cover up meteorite/comet fragments (M/CFs) entering the atmosphere, it's a pretty good way to do it because both are, in essence, the same thing. The real game changer though would be electrical phenomena associated with M/CFs. Since there is so little publicly known about what M/CFs can do and how they interact with the planet, it's really hard to say if one could actually change from an incoming trajectory to an outgoing one.

It would be nice to know where the video was taken from. Sure, the title says 'Russia', but when I did a translation of the blurb under the video, Google Translate tells me the language it detected was Slovak:

UFO in Russia (UFO In Russia) 23 December 2012

Mankind is too arrogant to accept the fact that we are not the only civilization in the universe, every craving and when the evidence appears some people now sit in judgment, it's a fake ... yonder the birds .. Henty's weather balloon .. the only evidence that he actually caused them when he lands in front of house space ship comes from it being intelligent and shakes his hand, we just arrogant 'God' creatures that are already thousands of years between each kill. Be smarter than an animal, it does not make a man master universe.

Pretty nonsensical. I checked to see if there were any reports of rocket launches in Russia on 23 December but the closet I've come up with is this:

http://www.presstv.ir/detail/2012/12/23/279672/russia-successfully-tests-missile-system/

PRESS TV, December 23 - Russia’s Southern Military District has successfully tested its new air defense system S-400 Triumf in line with plans to replace its S-300 PM systems.

The Russian news agency RIA Novosti reported on Saturday that the successful target-shooting trials of the new system have brought Russia’s Southern Military District one step closer to adopting the S-400 Triumf.

Oddly, the source, RIA Novosti, doesn't say anything about an actual rocket/missile test having taken place, just that they were going to test something...

http://en.ria.ru/military_news/20121222/178332515.html

MOSCOW, December 22 (RIA Novosti) – Russia’s Southern Military District has moved a step closer to adopting the new S-400 Triumf air defense systems, the district’s press service confirmed on Saturday.

Further successful target-shooting trials of the new air defense systems brings the district closer to the point at which the S-400 Triumf systems will be put on combat duty, replacing the S-300 PM systems, the district's press service confirmed on Saturday.

I've found just one other version of this video, uploaded today, so whatever it is does seem to have happened in the last couple of days because if it's from a while back then it would have been mirrored by many YouTubers by now:

I'm not so sure that what we see in it is 'ascending'; that could just be our perspective due to the planet's curvature. If it's high enough, then it could be that it's coming 'over the horizon'.

I did a search on youtube for a rocket launch (in Russian), and got several videos about a Soyuz rocket launch from Baikonur on 19th of December. It is also mentioned here in the list of the launches, and appears to be similar to the one in the Slovakian video. fwiw.

I agree, I don't think we can definitely say from that video that it is ascending or not.

What is interesting, it's very long bright glowing trace. So whatever it is, it may be at very high altitude. Resembles cirrus. And as far as I know, if object from space enters atmosphere at specific range of angles and speeds it may be diverted back to space.

The fact that there is a trail at one point an no trail at another is suggestive of a change in altitude.

Yep, if its a "chemtrail" type phenomenon, it looks huge and extends a very long ways toward the horizon.
