a lion fighting a bear

Jedi Master
I had a colorful dream last night. I was driving with my wife in some city and witnessed a fight between a huge grizzly bear and a lion on a sidewalk. Both standing on their hind legs coming to taller than 2 m in height. A bear was biting into a lion's front leg...

We passed the scene and started talking about what we shall do to avoid getting hurt or killed... Then I woke up.

The animals on their back legs, resembles a heraldic symbol. For me these are two super powers which will clash, the Putin bear and the Lion Britannique of the Occident and UNO.

Perhaps it might relate to some struggle within yourself that makes you feel insecure and cautious ?

As always with dreams, your own personal knowledge of your life and the events happening to you might shed some light on the meaning of the bear and lion fighting.

Hello Marina,

If you could post an introduction in the Newbies section, that would be great ! It doesn't need to be long, just a few words about you and how you found the forum. :)

Why do lion and bear represent aliens in dreams? I'm not sure I see the link, do you mind explaining Marina?

It reminds me of fight between Lion and the Unicorn and in "Through the Looking Glass":

The lion and the unicorn are first of all UK's Royal coat of arms (and probably the reason why Carroll used them in the first place).

The dream can be related to what is happening in your life, internally or externally. Sometimes dreams can resonate with external events, and borrow some of their imagery to convey something about internal events. Of course, you are the one who knows what is happening in your life.

The struggle between the lion and the bear is interresting for intellectual reasons. The lion being the king of the jungle, a solar symbol some would say, and the bear who is the king of himself so to speak, dark and maybe lunar (whatever that means) may have many interpretations.

However, the most interresting part of the dream is you, you are passing by and only witness the combat from the outside. So either you are not taking part in some internal struggle, preferring safety, or you are not taking part in a external conflict which can undermine your safety. It's hard to tell, but the most important parts of a dream are often small details that come through our conscious filter. OSIT

done introduction.
I'm working hard on dream's symbolism because I'm trying to understand mine, my previous speculation is based on dr Corrado Malanga ' researchs,
Unfortunately I found few publications in English
