Have tried the search function to look for previous discussions on the topics you brought up? Monoatomic gold, annunaki, nature of gravity etc have all been discussed in the C's transcripts.

My best guess is that it's Venus. See images below.

In your that gif you linked, the path of the object is moving towards the sun or going counterclockwise around the sun from a top view perspective.


And here you can look up the current orbital trajectories as well as play with rotating and zooming in and out.

The SOHO instrument ( that is responsible for the top image and your gif ) orbits the sun and transmits data from Earth's perspective because of its location around a gravitational null zone between the Earth and Sun (something like 0.99 AU from the Sun and 0.01 AU from the Earth?). Keeping that in mind you could go to that jpl website under the second image and check out the orbital diagram from a perspective similar to that of SOHO's to get an idea of what you are looking at in the top image.

I could be totally off base though as this is the first time I've had to look-up something like that. A quick google search didn't yield anything either.

And this...

The "funny-looking spheroid" is a typical response of the SOHO LASCO coronagraph CCD detector to an object (planet or bright star) of small angular extent but so bright that it saturates the CCD camera so that "bleeding" occurs along pixel rows. There is a bright horizontal streak on either side of the image, because the charge leaks easier along the direction in which the CCD image is read out by the associated electronics.

You are right, Venus and Mercury appear consistently in SOHO's field of view, and it is the first thing to check.
 
Indeed, a quick search in the forum always returns results. It's a sort of an encyclopedia ;)
