I had another interesting dream this morning.
In the dream I was in school right at the time that class hour was over and we went outside for a break. What is interesting is that I said to myself that I feel relief that I’m finished with history and geography classes, since I don’t have them that year. That actually happened in my real life because I lost those two subject in my fourth year of high school.
That was a big contrast to what I usually feel when I dream about being back in school and having to repeat some classes. This time I had no bad feelings about it.
I wonder if it has to do with the fact that last night I finally finished reading Ponerology. I started reading that book a couple of years ago but never finished. Perhaps such dreams are reminding me that I haven’t finished researching some topics. In this case it could be a history (Lobaczewski wrote about 20th century) and geography (he wrote about Poland).
In my last dream thread here, I said that I have several other topics that I started researching, but then had to go research about other subject because I got new problems. So now I maybe have to go back and finish what I started.
Anyway, in that dream, after we went outside, somebody said that, "they are building a new bridge", and everybody went to see that bridge. So I went with them.
We walked along the river, and at one point I stepped into the river. What I saw is that the river was perfectly clear. Some people say that when you dream about dirty river that that means that you will get sick, and that clear water means health. I tend to agree with that.
So when we reached that place where the bridge was supposed to be built I could see the basic preparations for it, but there was no metal construction yet.
Somebody said that Americans are building it, on which I said that I think that they are building it too slow and that Chinese might come at night and build it overnight (probably the reference to the global dynamics of powers in my country at this time). When I said that, everybody started to laugh, myself included.
And that was another interesting aspect of this dream. Because after several years of bad dreams, I forgot that you can actually laugh in dreams. First time that I laughed, after a lot of time, was a couple of months ago. And then in the last month I laughed several times, which was quite unusual to me.
Anyway, rivers seem to be a powerful symbol in my dreams. I described one dream here. But I don’t know what kind of symbol, yet. Perhaps some kind of energy flow. And the bridge could be a connection between a different parts of myself.
Well, whatever it is, I think that my dreams are telling me that something is being repaired in my subconscious, although I cannot feel anything special at this moment. I’ll just keep doing what I’m doing now, drinking iodine and reading books.
