Ouspensky had asked Gurdjieff which was its interest to help people. G had answered that he had an interest, but that he could not reveal him now.

Mouravieff said that whenever a disciple became master, he would never leave his place empty, he would find a disciple.

Don Juan said to Castaneda that a warrior who helped a novice to hunt some power, it helped the warrior to receive some more to be able to.

So we can to understand Gurdjieff, Mouravieff and Casteneda on relationships masters and followers (students). We could gain power only by helping others. The work of the altruism and paid by the salary of the power. Our power would increase according to the result of our teaching.  If the followers don't evolve, master(teacher) will not evolve.
The evolution of a person would be proportional in its capacity to pass on(to transmit) the truth …

All our knowledge come of sensations; and the sensation varies according to the individual, thus the man is the measure of any things, it's by him that they are or are not.  Protagoras

That makes sense. Thanks for sharing.  :)
It seems, from all the studies that are done, that an elevated mood - one of happy expectation of the possibility of adventure - is the greatest protection against illness. Perhaps it is also the one that makes one "inedible" to the Matrix? -Laura
