Azur:
I'm in. I'll take number 63, for starters.

Also, I like the format the Underground bases took, with respect to interjections, i.e. while one is talking, the other agrees or comments in between and how this is presented in [square brackets]. It makes for a visual flow that approximates the audio quite well (although tone is hard to capture, and we shouldn't venture there to try to capture it, it really might be hard to do that accurately).

There should be a master list of who is working on what, so that no duplication occurs, and also if someone vouched for one but it has been long in coming (for whatever personal time pressure reasons), it would allow someone with free time to query the "holder" of a spoken for podcast for transfer of responsibilities.

And it is rather important to vet the transcripts for accuracy. This is an issue that has come up with the C tapes before (so I've read).

It might be a good idea to not release the transcripts until some quality assurance is undertaken.

Cheers.

Hi everyone,

In respect to accuracy, there could also be a separate section for newly added transcripts and another for the proof-read ones so that it would be clear which transcripts have been checked. I don't know if that would cause confusion.

Also, if someone has not listened to a podcast, or wants to listen again, listening and reading at the same time could enhance the learning, osit.

I've started transcribing two podcasts - numbers 33 & 34 - Channelling and Exorcism parts 1 & 2. I started here because I couldn't really hear what the possessed subject was saying, and transcribing it seemed like a fairly decent way of trying to figure it all out.

Well done, Vulcan59 on your transcription. I agree with rylek - imo, too, it's very useful for learning about all these new horizons to have the transcript in front of you while listening.

Hi Vulcan59 - if you could move your transcript to a new thread - entitled TRANSCRIPT - 10/09/06 It's the End of the World as We Know It - (like I entitled the transcript for the most recent one) then we can have each podcast with it's own transcription thread - it might make it easier to keep straight.
