Dr. Emoto's study on water

While I know that this is an old subject I have not been able to find any response to the research done by Dr. Emoto on waters crystalline structure and the impact that human conscience has on that structure. Has anyone here looked into this study, read the books put out by Dr. Emoto or have a comment on the study?

I am curious about this study based on the idea that has been circulated that microwaved water is potentially less sutiable for drinking than water boiled on the stove.

I tried searching the site using Dr. Emoto AND water. I came up with nothing.

Thanks for any references to this study and its validity.

I can't track it down either, but I remember that Ark commented on it. He mentioned and I checked it out later that Emoto is the only one who has been able to do what he says he has done. We only have his word. No one has been able to duplicate his study, which speaks volumes in itself. Especially since it is a good 10 years ago that he first did his experiments (if I remember correctly).

As far as I can see it is not much different than belief in affirmations, where the key word is BELIEF, which puts it in the category of New Age smoke and mirrors. Recently I saw this water thing (EMOTO inspired) in one of the New Age magazines where this was promoted as the new wonder thing. Just believe and all will be rosy.

I look at it this way.

I can say "LOVE" and take a photo of the prettiest looking crystal in a group of crystals, cropping out the sludge.

I can say "Hate" and take a pic of a sludgy looking thing, cropping out the prettier ones.

These pics below are cool, taken on a Low Temperature Scanning Electron microscope, in a lab. Not sure if the lab technicians were saying Love or Hate. :)

I had read somewhere that Emoto organized some great manifestations of positive thought for earth or something like sending light and love - hey all the oceans charged of love, do you realize? - etc.

So, when Anders talk about smoke, I think it could really be "smoke on the water"!
