Avatar Issues

Cant upload avatar

It's changed, you're just not seeing it - that has happened to me as well and I think it has something to do with cached content, or something - I'm sure one of the techies can explain more fully - but your avatar is the center of a rose.

It works for me and i do not use Firefox (IE).

Hello, I've trying to change my avatar with no success. The goldfish won't disappear:) Any suggestions?

Try clearing the cache and cookies on your browser. Then close the browser and restart it. That has helped before :)

Note that this would be a link to - specifically - your profile section, which others can't access. However, replacing the number 9 in the URL with jusdanny's - 3564 - you'd get a link to his. (which we can't access)

This is a good website for avatars: here

They actually 'walk' you through the steps, so it's really easy. If you want to use a picture of your choosing, you'll need to make a file of it first.

Looking forward to seeing it next to your posts. :)

Ok, I got it to upload a picture. But then I wanted to change it, nothing doing. Am I stuck with that choice forever?

Nope. :(
I do all of the steps as the first time. get to the browse button,click it, navigate to the file I want to use, click open, filename is there for a second, then poof :shock: no filename :cry: nothing to upload. :huh:

The problem may be that the image is too large to be used as an avatar. I don't know what the exact parameters are but you may need to edit the pixels and/or size of the file before using it as an avatar. How big is it?
