A family of four has been missing since Monday night when a huge sinkhole opened up in St. Jude, about 77 kilometres northeast of Montreal, and north of St. Hyacinthe, and the family's home sank into it. Five nearby homes have been evacuated. The sinkhole measures about 500 metres by 1 kilometre, police said.
