The work sub-forum

I can't find the ' The Work' sub-forum under esoterica anymore, it seems to have dissapeared!

Does anyone else report this?

That's strange because I should be included in this group but I don't see this sub-forum as well.
It seems totally unavailable, I can't even find my posts from that board in the list of "last posts of this person" in the profile menu.
Or am I missing something here?

I have 33 posts and can,t see it either

Permissions were recently changed to needing 50 posts to view Family Life, The Swamp, and The Work.

To explain: we have received reports of a potentially violent predator who has registered on the forum. We moved those forums where many personal details are exposed for the protection of our members.

I understand, I felt that is something going on, but I just can,t help myself-I feel like I am kicked out from my home

On my profile there is no more option for personall messages. I got PM twice, but never answered, folowing the forum rules or recommendations. And I do not have intention to sand any. Did I make some mistakes? :/

IMO you have done the right thing. And imo it is also a security measure for protecting members not to have the chance of sending PMs (to make this service unavailable). I think it is not a measure taken against you personally, it is/was an overall procedure.

Yes, I think this is very good advice. It's regrettable that the change had to be made, but it was done for a very good reason -- for everyone who is benefiting from participating here, 25 (or fewer) more posts won't be too much of an obstacle. Look for opportunities to post where you may have not seen them before, and you will most likely hit 50 before you know it :)

No, this is not a punishment of any kind, just an increased security measure that applies to everyone, as Gawan notes. Since the function is generally discouraged, we anticipate that the temporary loss of this function shouldn't pose an inconvenience.

Help finding a couple of threads

Hello,

I went to revisit an old thread of high personal significance to me, as I wanted to follow some links and read the information suggested at that time. Two of the links to threads result in error messages when I try to visit them, and I was wondering if anyone could point me in the proper direction or with an updated URL.

The links in question are:

Imitation Fourth Way Groups Started by Gurdjieff Rejects

and "Also see this post in the thread Schizophrenia, The Work, etc. It talks about the problems that result from an undeveloped emotional center and over-reliance on the intellectual center. Also, it talks about the black magnetic center which can form in the absence of a group that constantly mirrors you during your entire development in the Work"

I did not want to revive an old and complicated thread simply to find the information referenced within, hence the new post.

I merged your topic to an existing one. Basically the number of post required before you can access those links has now been increased to a minimum of 50. :)

This is certainly a sensible precaution to take, in light of the circumstances, and I totally respect that decision. Safety first!

Hi guys, I must have missed something, but since yesterday I can't find The WORK section anymore neither in the forum nor while using its search function. Where did it go? To 4D realm ?

Or, do I have to be a member of the FOTCM to access it now ?
