Several Questions for the C's

Weontv

Jedi
I have a few questions here regarding the Hermeticists and Alchemists of Egypt and other places in history. If any of them have already been answered I apologize, I still haven't read through every transcript but I am working on it.

First of all I want to know if the philosophers stone is real or if it represents something else?

Is the ingredient used to make it urine?

I have reason to believe that there are alchemists in the past who have made the stone, I would like to know if they eventually ascend into the 4th Density or is there really a place on earth they ended up?

The reason I think the Stone is so important is because it apparently accelerates the growth of your spirit and mind to several magnitudes of degrees higher than what it is now, and if that's the case shouldn't we all be trying to make the stone? This could be handed out among other benevolent beings.

If any of these questions can be answered it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for the beautiful website as well.

Maybe you want to introduce yourself in the newbie forum. You can watch the other newbie threads, how they did it.

Welcome to the forum Weontv.

Since this is your first post on the forum, we would appreciate it if you could post a brief intro about yourself in the Newbies section, telling us a bit of how you found this forum, how long you've been reading it and/or the SOTT page, whether or not you've read any of Laura's books yet, etc.

The Cs have commented on alchemy in the past, the main point being that everyone always focuses on the material aspect of it when the real point is the symbolism. Basically, the "philosopher's stone" etc are symbolic constructs that point to results of the 'Work' on the self as described by Gurdjieff and others.

Most of the work on this topic would be pure research. I was chasing those things down for a number of years and finally, after examining all the evidence, came to the conclusion that Hermeticism/Alchemy was a load of nonsense created by pagan neo-Platonists in reaction to the polemics of Christians. With time and care you can actually trace it's growth and development but it is a lot of work because you have to follow numerous threads.

It all started with Plato... who took it upon himself to re-interpret Pythagoreanism very wildly and freely. In order to understand this, you have to understand that Pythagoreanism was closely connected to Orphism. You could say that Orphism and Pythagoreanism were the "fundamentalist religious reactions" of their times. And that's not to say that they were on the wrong track. They may very well have been on the right track only by the time Plato got done with them, everything was so distorted that figuring out what was really ancient Orphism and Pythagoreanism has taken a long time and a lot of work.

You can start with my book "Comets and the Horns of Moses" which gives a great deal of background as to what was generating religious thinking during the Greek Dark Ages which were factors in the development of Greek philosophy.

Each of these books pretty much sum up a lot of other material.

Anyway, you'll see that the neo-Platonists then came along and re-interpreted Plato, adding another layer of nonsense not to mention the Jewish input to the so-called "gnostic/hermetic" tradition which was schizoidal at best.

See: Jews in the Hellenistic World: Volume 1, Part 1: Josephus, Aristeas, The Sibylline Oracles, Eupolemus

After reading all of the above, you'll realize that the remainder of your questions are irrelevant.

Or, you can wait for my next book which will cover these topics in some detail and save you from having to read hundreds of books and thousands of papers and articles (because I've already done it).

While exploring the neo-Platonists for an academic work (in french, _https://www.academia.edu/8257432/Vie_et_realite_des_pensees ) I came to the conclusion that Plotinus, Iamblichus, Porphyry, Pseudo-Dionysius, and other neo-platonists mixing "orphism", "neo-pythagorism", and aristotelianism tended towards materialism. In the beginning, I thought that Plotinus was somehow "spiritual", but then I found that he was deeply materialistic.

Also, Plotinus had been heavily influenced by Aristotle. I was interested in knowing more about Plotinus and Proclus because they are not mentioned in Secret History II. In the end, maybe that Proclus was less materialistic then Plotinus, but he was too much versed in "magic" and "theurgy", OSIT.

Thanks for sharing this, jsf.

I glanced through your paper (Table of Contents + Conclusion) and found it interesting enough to immediately download the PDF-file.

Looking forward to reading it -- as soon as I can spare enough time off for such intricate matters; and even then it still will take quite a while to get it as academic French is a rather difficult read for me. But I'm willing to put in the effort. ;)

Is it possible to ask the c's if the moon is a holographic image, how it is generated, by who and why?

TA

Laura, I just wanted to say thanks for the elaborate response. I have finished reading most of the transcripts and I realize now that everything I am asking has either been answered by you/the c's, or I can draw my own conclusions. The level of corruption in all these works is something I had not taken into account, but now that I am on the other side, it is quite obvious to me. Their truly are no shortcuts!

What would make you think that the moon is a holographic image? I mean yes, the material world and all that could be an illusion but not the way you are asking about the moon, if you could share why you think of that (about the moon) it could be answered by research probably

That would then pose the question, if the moon were a holographic image what causes the tide to go in and out? I too am interested to hear what brought you to ask.

Personally I like author David Weber's take on the moon...that it's a leftover battle station covered in regolith as a "cloak" :)

(See "Mutineer's Moon")

And I know there are *some* folks out there who think the moon really is an artificial satellite...who knows?!
