And cows love jazz

The Living Force
Evidence that animals enjoy music as much as people!
One American jazz band was on tour in France and through the stop next to the cows and prepared them a memorable performance.

We would expect the cow to escape or it will not even pay attention to the music, but look what happened.

Thanks Casper and Siberia for the links. It sure does look as if the cows were enjoying the music and were having a good time.

It would be interesting to see how they react to any other music style ;)

Yes, thanks for the jazz Cow concert! I grew up on a dairy farm and I know for a fact how curious they are. They of course have that "herd instinct" too so when one sees something different they all go to see what is going on. There is some data to prove that the right music makes dairy cows give more milk too _http://www.upi.com/Science_News/2014/02/18/Music-helps-cows-relax-produce-more-milk/1111392759663/ .

Anyway, it put a smile on my face. :)

Thanks

Thanks

My uncle was a dairy farmer. His cows did not like rock 'n roll, but did like classical music and were very content while it was playing. When my cousins would put on rock 'n roll, the cows would get nervous and irritable so my uncle would change the radio channel back again and the cows would calm down.

That's so cute :{D Thank you for sharing.

This video was amusing. Hehe

I play different types of music for my cats all of the time! I swear they have their own preferences. Basil loves a good bossa nova, and posey prefers slow and dreamy jazzy swing music.

It looks as if I have been wasting my time chasing cows all over the paddocks for the last few years.
I'll have to invest in a hifi system..
