The Living Force
Apart from the political world, fraud, bribery and corruption rule, unfortunately in the sports world. The Swiss police arrested six leaders of FIFA. It is the members of the Executive Board, and were arrested by order of the US Justice Department on suspicion of corruption, racketeering and money laundering.

It looks like the old story - where the scum rises to the top.
I'll bet there are some ducking for cover over this.

yes, and this has happened from small league to the professionals, there is always bribery involved... my two cents :cool2:

True, but this seems to be connected with the 2018 FIFA World Cup scheduled to take place in Russia.

I also thought at the beginning it is just about the corrupt elite and maybe and most likely some are corrupt at the Fifa but then it went into another direction, that it is again to hit Russia, since the next soccer championship takes part there in 2016.

And what Croatian media think about Putin can be read in the headline:

Čelnik Rusije iskoristio korupcijsku aferu u FIFA-i za obračun s Amerikom

The head of Russia used the the corruption scandal in FIFA to confront with America

But as we can see the truth is quite the opposite, the America is using this scandal to confront with Russia.

Yes that's exactly what's happening here. FIFA is a ponerised organisation who's corruption has gone on for years. Now all of a sudden, America - who has no extradition agreement with Switzerland, the country where Roman Polanski lived while wanted by US authorities for the rape of a 13 year old girl and beat an extradition request _http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/10601930 - have Switzerland arrest top members of FIFA for corruption investigation.

It's obvious this has only happened because Russia got the next world cup and the US are desperate to get at Russia in any way possible.

If 'Russia' did buy the world cup I can't imagine Putin himself would have okay'd such a move.

*Sigh* Like he hasn't already got enough to deal with.

The scandal of world football has to do with politics. State authorities were waiting for the "right" moment to make this move to take advantage of the affair for political purposes.

However, although the fore in the media pushed the present market attitude of the United States and Russia, which is hosting the controversial 2018 World Cup, there is a theory that behind the whole action was the Israeli lobby over Palestine.

Today at 19.00 in Zurich opened the 65th Congress of FIFA, and was opened by the President of the European football organization Sep Blatter and speech. He referred to the arrest and the crisis that shakes Fifu.
Quote.

"I know a lot of people considered responsible for the actions and reputation in world football community, whether it is the decision of the household or the World Cup corruption scandal. You will agree with me that these are the Fifu unprecedented and difficult. Yesterday's events have cast big shadow on football and this Congress. Procedures individuals shame and humiliate football and demand response of all of us, he said Blatter continued:
The next few months will not be easy for Fifu. I'm sure that could be followed by more bad news. However, you must know that they can not control everything, if someone wants to act wrongly, he will do it. But to us to condemn it, and that such people are punished, and that all of us do our best to ensure that those things would not have happened. Tomorrow the Congress we have an opportunity for a new beginning of what will be a long and difficult road to restore confidence

Michel Platini also commented on the election of the president of FIFA, and the vote will take tomorrow.

Quote from:

"If, after all, Blatter is withdrawn, there is a strong, that has great support. Could tomorrow be defeated? Can! But to those events of yesterday I did not think so."

European members of FIFA standing beside Prince Ali (another candidate), while Asia and Africa mostly supporting Blatter.

This arrest is also curious from another angle: direct intervention of American agency in Europe - like introducing first steps of "American New order"...Like desperately trying to get what "they" can...FWIW

David Gill, a member of the executive committee of UEFA and FIFA will be the new vice president Sepp Blatter. He decided that after the scandal and the arrest of officials of FIFA and Blatter after re-election, even though it is the Executive Board of the roof football organization already voted as the new vice president.
Blatter: "I all forgive but not forget."

The real "yes, we can"?.
As casper said, this case has to do with politics, it's another imperial move. Like what happening with Greece. The US government is pressing the IMF to give more and more possibilities of negotiation to the Greek government. And that is why Merkel has to change her attitude and be more open. United States can not let Greece out of its influence and that they become allies of Russia, losing dominance in the Mediterranean.
So, in FIFA all countries are represented, and is a mirror over international relations...Obviously, Platini is another puppet of Zionism, just like Hollande.

Andy Burnham, said that England should boycott the World Cup in Russia, because he believes that someone must stand up against corruption in FIFA, but the Russian military aggression. Greg Dyke has invited Michel Platini to unify Europe in order to European countries boycotting the World Cup in Russia.

This Blatter's re-election almost looks like jet another easy point for Putin who publicly took his side just wright before FIFA elections...

He has just resigned! I'm on my phone so cant post a link.

Germany has also said they wont support a 2018 boycott. That could change though.

Looks like all pro US countries may boycott the next world cup.
