Meanwhile In Venezuela... The Socialist Paradise Has Arrived
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-07-29/meanwhile-venezuela-socialist-paradise-has-arrived

As we recently warned, the hyperinflationary collapse in Venezuala is reaching its terminal phase. With inflation soaring at least 65%, murder rates the 2nd highest in the world, and chronic food (and toilet paper shortages), the following disturbing clip shows what is rapidly becoming major social unrest in the Maduro's socialist paradise... and perhaps more importantly, Venezuela shows us what the end game for every fiat money system looks like (and perhaps Janet and her colleagues should remember that).

First, on Wednesday we showed what happens to local supermarkets when formerly Latin American paradises run out of other people’s money.

Then, the next day we showed what happens when in the aftermath of scenes such as the one above the social mood turns violent, and how what was once supposed to be a socialist utopia paradise ends uplooking like a warzone.

Today we show how the local population is forced to act like stampeding animals when it comes to obtaining even the most basic of staples, in this case milk powder.

The clip below speaks for itself.

Looks to me to be what happens to any country that bucks the system: it, and its local representatives, will 'make the economy scream' as Nixon put it, until such a time as socialism is safely discredited and capitalism is back in charge. To paraphrase Gurdjieff, we're all in prison, but we can't escape alone. Any country that tries this gets smashed, pour encourager les autres.

I've noticed that Zerohedge in regards to Venezuela very much toes the line of Western media. Why even call it a socialist paradise? It is a government that against all odds is trying to do the best for its people and using a socialist model. That does not mean that it is perfect in its current state, as the bourgeoisie is doing what it can to undermine the government and along with the US create a regime change.

What Zerohedge also fails to highlight is how things were before Chavez and how things in many many areas have improved. Before it was a capitalist paradies for the rich elite, no doubt about that.

But Venezuela has been trying to go against the empire and thus is demonized in every which way.

Indeed. Also, what this fails to mention is that in Venezuela's case, most of this was instigated by vultures from foreign (US) powers, while in the US there is nobody else to blame but the American "corporatocracy".

Yes, the Empire is behind Venezuela's problems, but also uses the local networks of business and media - the artificial shortages started this and the local business people were involved in causing that so that they redistribute the wealth back to themselves if they could have a "regime change".
