Gas shortage in Nova Scotia...

Cars are lined up at some service stations as supply tanks begin to run dry across the province.

According to the news sources, (blech), there was a supply chain issue involving two tanker vessels not getting into port on schedule.

As there is clearly no actual immediate gas shortage, with prices dropping in the oil biz worldwide, I wonder if this is a case of test marketing a local crisis..?

Well the ptb would certainly get to gauge citizen reaction to the 'crisis' and make the necessary contingency plans, and the oil suppliers probably get to keep the prices artificially inflated at the same time.

Win - win all around, but not if you are a citizen.
