My family and I were blessed to see this small (Lyra members total 2 dozen or more) performance in a rural church in southern Appalachia. It was their 26th performance of 28

spread over 30 days, all at no charge. Lyra is composed of professional musicians who sing in different churches in St. Petersburg, Russia. Some members are also soloists at

musical theatres in the city. Through their performances they introduce the enormous musical heritage of the Russian Orthodox Church as well as traditions of Russian folk music.

There are no words to describe the beauty, emotion and professionalism that were on display that evening.
