“The 3.7kaBP Middle Ghor Event: Catastrophic Termination of a Bronze Age Civilization”

This paper surveys the multiple lines of evidence that collectively suggest a Tunguska-like, cosmic airburst event that obliterated civilization—including the Middle Bronze Age city-state anchored by Tall el-Hammam—in the Middle Ghor (the 25 km diameter circular plain immediately north of the Dead Sea) ca. 1700 B.C.E., or 3700 years before present (3.7kaBP).

Analyses of samples taken over twelve seasons of the Tall el-Hammam Excavation Project have been and are being performed by a team of scientists from New Mexico Tech, Northern Arizona University, NC State University, Elizabeth City (NC) State University, DePaul University, Trinity Southwest University, the Comet Research Group, and Los Alamos National Laboratories, with remarkable results.

Commensurate with these results are the archaeological data collected from across the entire occupational footprint (36 ha) of Tall el-Hammam, demonstrating a directionality pattern for the high-heat, explosive 3.7kaBP Middle Ghor Event that, in an instant, devastated approximately 500 km2 immediately north of the Dead Sea, not only wiping out 100% of the Middle Bronze Age cities and towns, but also stripping agricultural soils from once-fertile fields and covering the eastern Middle Ghor with a super-heated brine of Dead Sea anhydride salts pushed over the landscape by the Event’s frontal shockwaves.

Based upon the archaeological evidence, it took at least 600 years to recover sufficiently from the soil destruction and contamination before civilization could again become established in the eastern Middle Ghor.

Q: (L) Were Sodom and Gomorrah destroyed by nuclear weapons?

A: Yes and no.

Q: (L) How were they destroyed?

A: EMP

Q: (L) What is "EMP?"

A: Electromagnetic pulse.

Oct 5th 1994

Q: (L) How were Sodom and Gomorrah destroyed and the other cities of the plain? And by whom?

A: Nuclear; EM pulse. Who else?

Q: (L) The lizzies?

A: Yes.

Q: (L) Why?

A: To implant fear and obedience.

Q: (L) Weren't the Sodom and Gomorrans really evil and bad doing sodomy and Gomorrahy?14

A: That is a deception of history.

Q: (L) Did Lot's wife get turned into a pillar of salt?

A: No.

Would an EMP destroy anything beyond the electronics?

It is not the only thing that it can do, nor the only one of its variable forms and intensity of use. According to this simple information we can see that the "only damage to the electrical equipment" is a convenient part of the information:

Electromagnetic pulses are very brief but very high intensity emissions of electromagnetic radiation. They can be formed either due to magnetic fields that vary very intensely or due to a nuclear explosion.

E1:
It is the fastest component of the nuclear EMP. It generates an electric field that induces fast and very intense voltages, capable of destroying electrical devices.

E2:
This component causes the least problems, because it is very similar to the EMPs formed by lightning in a storm. This similarity means that the same facilities that we use to stop them (that is, the lightning rods) also serve us for this type of pulses.

E3:
These are long and intense pulses, which can last up to several minutes and are capable of considerably varying the magnetic field of the affected area. However, later when the pulse ends the field will end up returning to its previous state. It may be due to a nuclear explosion, but nevertheless it is so similar to a solar storm that it is usually called “solar EMP”.

The fact that an electromagnetic pulse is produced by a nuclear explosion has been known since the early days of nuclear weapons testing, but its magnitude and the importance of its effects did not become apparent for a while.

The asteroid impact also produces it. I completely ignore this topic... but remembering the info in SOTT about the "electric universe", there should be information to relate better. In this case a meteorite would leave a very noticeable imprint of the impact, and the rest is to try to find the logic for a weapon that should not have existed at that time but that does not fit a natural catastrophe either. And it's EMP, not EMP due to a nuclear bomb or asteroid impact, so, nuclear energy is the energy contained in the nucleus of an atom.

We are inclined to relate nuclear with a cylindrical physical device or antenna for its function, but when we talk about atom, matter, photons, etc. the toy to be used changes and there the unknown how did they create the EMP so that today they cannot verify it with conventional science and that it does not affect the Biblical version?, because studies should shed light on the components present, fit them through other studies to find a reaction at a certain level to have finished with that place, accepting it is already the problem.

It depends on frequency range and power of the burst. Strong enough ionizing radiation can kill everything almost instantly.
Thanks, Ive only ever read the dangers of an EMP being electronics...faraday cages, bags, cover you phones with alum foil or keep in a microwave oven....have never heard about other dangers. A lot of good that faraday bag will do when the EMP kills us. :-O
