I really like the Asterix booklets a lot. The small gallic village that resists all attempts to be conquered (of course we know that Caesar wasn't the bad guy!) has become a symbol to many of us. If one likes Asterix I can easily join hands with him! 
And this new one really made me laugh very often. It is about conquering this village in the soft but cruel undermining way one can see in everyday life today. The Austrian ex-chancellor Kurz was a master in this.
And when I finished i thought: Isn't it that nowadays we have a "small gallic village", too? Not in the same location, but resisting the attempts of being (mentally) conquered anyway!
Just wanted to tell . . .
