The Harold Wallace Rosenthal Interview 1976

Wikipedia said:
White was, in addition to his NAACP work, a journalist, novelist, and essayist. Through his cultural interests and his close friendships with white literary power brokers Carl Van Vechten and Alfred A. Knopf, White was one of the founding personalities of the "New Negro" cutural flowering, more popularly known as the "Harlem Renaissance." He married Gladys Powell in 1922, divorcing her in 1949. They had two children, Jane and Walter Carl Darrow White. White married a white magazine editor, Poppy Cannon, with whom he lived until his death in 1955.
So Walter Carl Darrow White could be "Walter White, Jr".

Of course, whether he had any contact with Rosenthal is another matter. If the pamphlet really is racist propaganda, then choosing the name of a prominent black rights figure (or his son) as the "author" would probably be a sick joke to the real instigators.

Alternatively, it could be disinformation along the lines of the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion"; an attempt to associate the concept of a "Jewish conspiracy" with real anti-semitism, thus allowing the pathocrats to preserve the unique ideological structure of Judaism that seems almost tailor-made for the "masking" of psychopathic behavior (as Douglas Reed describes in "The Controversy of Zion").

Makow has an article worth reading on the subject, although Des Griffin's claim of having met the author and heard the tapes should also be subject to verification.

Henry Makow said:
(Note: On Nov. 29 2005 I had a telephone conversation with Des Griffin who told me that he was invited to Walter White's house in CA and listened to the tape of the interview. The Rosenthal character in the interview sounded like a bad actor reading from a script. Certain words were repeated. He says the information is totally credible but the conspiracy is real and does not need to be embellished by fraud.)
Also, putting "Harold Wallace Rosenthal Interview" into Google brings up first-page links to Rense and Daryl Bradford Smith. If they are promoting it, then that makes it pretty suspect in my opinion.

So Kimber - did you really have something beyond what has been posted to say regarding this interview? And what prevented you from posting it in the first place??? What did you want us to search for beyond that - who were his bosses/employers? You somehow failed to mention that most imortant fact (in this thread) ...

Highmystica, I was requesting feedback by finer minds than what I possess at this point, 'in time.' I do not think I'm objective enough to make firm conclusions after reading interviews/essays of this nature. I suspected a possible grain of truth wrapped in this garbage. This is only due to Laura's statements concerning the cleverest lies are wrapped around a shred of truth. As for my suggestion of research, again, I was asking for research advice, in the objective example as explicated here in this forum.
Laura, I found this interview after starting to read Pro of Zion. It is difficult reading-(I'm calling in a few sacred cows, which have pastured long enough), May I suggest a forum for book discussion? This book is worthy of chapter by chapter discussion. And thank You for your posting advice.

Kimber, it might be helpful to read Controversy of Zion asap if you haven't already.

This at least is the official data on the man. It says nothing about an interview that could help with that question.

THE 2007 HAROLD W. ROSENTHAL
FELLOWSHIP IN INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

BASIC INFORMATION/PROCEDURES

Applications for the 31st annual Harold W. Rosenthal Fellowship in International Relations are being accepted through the Dean of Students. The Rosenthal Fellowship provides the opportunity to spend a summer working on foreign affairs issues at a government agency or department, including the office of a Member of Congress, the State Department, the Department of Defense, or other federal agencies. Nine Fellows were selected in 2006 for three-month appointments; we anticipate a similar number of Fellows in 2007. A stipend of $2000 will accompany each award. In addition, the European Union Visitors Program, jointly sponsored by the European Commission and the European Parliament, gives preferred consideration to Rosenthal Fellows; to date, the Rosenthal Fellowship has averaged one EVP Fellow per year.

The Fellowship will include independent research on international affairs issues. The program will also help to integrate Fellows into the larger foreign affairs community in Washington, including offices and committees in Congress, the Executive branch, local universities, and seminars in the area.

Harold Rosenthal was killed at the age of 29 in a terrorist attack at the Istanbul airport on August 11, 1976, while traveling to Israel as part of his work for Senator Jacob Javits. The Harold W. Rosenthal Fellowship will be awarded to individuals who can best demonstrate overall familiarity with foreign affairs issues and a desire to take part in government service. Applicants will be expected to furnish a written essay and will be interviewed. Selection of Fellows will be based on the requisite knowledge of government, strength of character, commitment to ideals of international peace and understanding, and the ability to develop new ideas. The Harold W. Rosenthal Fellowship is not only an award, but also a responsibility to serve the memory of an outstanding individual and to bring intellectual vigor as well as personal dynamism to the service of this award.

No more than three students may be recommended by their Dean for the Fellowship. Applications cannot be accepted directly from students. The Fellowship program is open to college seniors and graduate students who in all cases must be planning to continue in a graduate level program following the summer Fellowship. See application for information on how to apply.

NOTE: Applications must be postmarked no later than February 9, 2007.

Harold Rosenthal Fellowship
Program Description and Application Procedures
The Harold W. Rosenthal Fellowship offers qualified students pursuing a career in international relations the opportunity to spend a summer in professional fellowship positions with a Member of Congress or in the State Department. In most years, two to four students are awarded the fellowship, each receiving a stipend for his or her work. In 2006, nine students were selected.
The Fellowship is in honor of Harold Rosenthal, a Senate staff member who was a victim of international terrorism, killed in 1976 at the age of 29. He had already begun a successful career in international relations. The fellowship celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2006, memorialized by a legacy of ninety-two outstanding fellows to date.

Fellows are selected based on their commitment to public service, their education and interest in international relations as well as their experience and their dedication to values held and pragmatism demonstrated by Harold Rosenthal. Those include a professional commitment to conflict resolution, governance, and multi-culturalism.

The fellowship positions chosen are carefully chosen to ensure that the fellows have the opportunity to perform substantive work in international relations and security policy. One fellow a year also participates in the European Union's Visitors Program.

The Application Process
Candidates for the fellowship must be either graduate students in international relations or, in special cases, college seniors. In each case, the candidate must be planning to continue his or her education after the summer internship.
Students may obtain applications through the Dean's office of participating schools. Each applicant must submit biographical information, transcripts, one reference, and a two-page essay on foreign relations to his or her school's Dean. Each Dean then nominates up to three candidates to the Fellowship board, which reviews the candidates and selects semi-finalists to interview.

Applications for the 2007 program will be due on February 9, 2007.

Once selected by the Fellowship board, semifinalists will be invited to come to Washington, D.C. for interviews. No funds are available to cover travel expenses. At least two finalists are selected to be interviewed by each sponsor.

All finalists will be notified of selection within one week of the interviews.

The Support of the European Union
Before his death, Harold Rosenthal participated in what was then called the European Community's Visitor's Program. The Program invites young leaders from countries outside the European Union to visit Europe to gain a firsthand appreciation of the EU's goals, policies, and peoples, and to increase mutual understanding between professionals from non-EU countries and their EU counterparts. As a tribute to Harold, each year the EU invites one Rosenthal fellow to participate in the EU Visitors Program. For more information on the EU program, see: http://www.eurunion.org/delegati/ppa/euvp.htm

Upon selection, finalists must provide the Delegation of the European Commission with additional information on their objectives for a European tour under the European Visitor Program Fellowship.

I first read about Rosenthal when I used to explore The French Connection website.
They promoted this work, along with Benjamin Freedman, Samuel Untermyer, Henry Ford, Elizabeth Dilling, Nesta Webster, etc.

Hufschmid presented this Danny Steinberg as a new version of Rosenthal.

Steinberg links to this Cohen report _http://cohenreport.blogspot.com

and the Plymouth Rock Institue of Research _http://prir2.blogspot.com
"Our Mission: Founded in 2005, The Plymouth Rock Institute of Research is a think tank whose mission is to formulate and promote public policies based on the principles of "preemptive defense" for America and its ally, traditional American values, the idealism of the expansive American spirit and protection of dominant ethnic minorities."

Hi everyone, in reading Laura's initial post I was interested in the claim by Rosenthal that judaism is a nation not a religion. I remembered about 10 years ago in Australia an ultra-orthodox Australian jew was convicted of significant money-laundering. He was given a very lenient sentence because of his religion. From memory the judge commented that for an ultra-orthodox jew prison life would be doubly hard.
I decided to do some searching and found an intriguing e-book called,"When Victims Rule: A Critique Of Jewish Pre-eminence In America". This book is very large and detailed. What is particularly interesting is their is no author cited. So as a heads up I do not know who wrote the book or what their purpose was other than the title of the book. Chapter 23 of the book cites many examples of highly organised criminal activity within ultra-orthodox jewish circles and even cited the case I remember in Australia. Seems their might be more than religion going on in ultra-orthodox judaism.

So Walter Carl Darrow White could be "Walter White, Jr".
Revisiting the sources for the alleged interview, there was on the Wiki for Harold Wallace Rosenthal:
Harold Wallace Rosenthal (November 2, 1947 – August 11, 1976), was a senior aide to Senator Jacob K. Javits (R-NY). Rosenthal was murdered in a terrorist attack in Istanbul, Turkey. The Harold Rosenthal Fellowship in International Relations was established in his honor.
Rosenthal graduated from Cambridge University and Harvard University graduate school, both on scholarships. After working for Congressman (later Governor) Hugh Carey (D-NY) he moved to the office of Senator Walter Mondale (D-MN) where he directed the senator's legislative agenda. After a stint at the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, Rosenthal returned to the Senate to work as a senior aide to Jacob K. Javits of New York.[1]
On August 11, 1976, Rosenthal was one of four people murdered in a terrorist attack at the El Al gate in Istanbul, Turkey. Other victims included Yutaka Hirano, a tour guide from Japan, Ernest Eliash from Petach Tikvah and Shlomo Weisbachs along with over 20 injured.[2] An American woman, Margaret Shearer was injured with a bullet in her ankle.[3] Two captured attackers identified themselves to Turkish police as Mohamed Mehdi and Mohamed Husein al-Rashid of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.[4][5]

In 1977, the Harold Rosenthal Fellowship in International Relations was established in his memory.[6] Each year, 9 to 13 qualified students are given the opportunity to spend the summer in professional fellowships with a members of Congress or in a government department. Applications are encouraged from graduate students interested in all branches of government.[7]
In 1978, a pamphlet entitled The Hidden Tyranny included an interview conducted by Walter White purportedly with Rosenthal that claimed Jewish Americans had implemented a Protocols of the Elders of Zion-style plan to take over the world. The pamphlet was republished in the 1990s and distributed in Idaho by the 11th Hour Remnant Messenger, funded by wealthy entrepreneurs Vincent Bertollini and Carl E. Story.[8] The Anti-Defamation League has called it "a fabricated document" and questioned why the author would "wait to first publish the booklet until 1978, 18 months after he had spoken with Rosenthal, who was murdered in 1976."[9] Tom Metzger reported in the White Aryan Resistance website "that interview never took place. Walter White operated free and loose on some subjects, like this one... that interview is bogus."[10] Daniel Levitas in his book The Terrorist Next Door: The Militia Movement and the Radical Right attributed the bogus interview to White's wife, Opal Tanner White, an aide to Gerald L. K. Smith, writing "since Rosenthal was dead, White was free to attribute anything she wished—however scurrilous or hateful—to the onetime Javits aide."[11]
About Opal Tanner White
Mrs. Opal Maurine Tanner White (September 18, 1919 - September 29, 1996) of Indiana was the secretary of nationalist industrialist Carl H. Mote. After Mote’s death she worked for Gerald L.K. Smith and became his office manager after Smith moved his operations from Detroit to St. Louis

In 1950 she ran for State Auditor in the state of Missouri on the Christian Nationalist Party.

In the 1970s she helped her husband Walter White Jr. to write The Hidden Tyranny: The Issue that Dwarfs all other Issues, supposedly a "confidential interview" with Harold Rosenthal an aid of New York Senator Jacob Javits.[1] Before the publication of the article, Rosenthal was killed by Arab terrorists aboard an Israeli flight.
About Walter White Jr.
Walter White Jr. (September 18, 1898 - June 20, 1984) was the founder of the California-based nationalist organization Western Front. He and his wife Opal Tanner White collaborated on the article The Hidden Tyranny: The Issue that Dwarfs all other Issues. See here [1]

The Talk page for Harold Wallace Rosenthal has:
People come to this page because of the interview
Or, I should say, 'supposed' interview. In 1976 he is supposed to have given an interview with statements like "we Jews toy with the American public as a cat toys with a mouse". No reliable source for this has ever been given. However, it is part of the history of the subject, and should be addressed. A list of who has promoted this and why would be a useful addition to the article.
I can give you one source for research. Ben Klassen has promoted the interview as true, and has much to say about its supposed content. Google up his book 'On the Brink of a Bloody Racial War', the issue #44 November 88 section. That will tell you plenty about who is promoting this, as will Klassen's own Wiki page. You will also get a good idea of the substance of the interview, but what we need is a reference to the whole thing, maybe a link at the bottom in the sources section.

It is a part of the history of the subject, like it or not. Similarly, stories about Proctor and Gamble's moon and thirteen Stars logo being a Satanic symbol are part of the company's history, despite being pure babble from the padded cell.

Looking up Ben Klassen who promoted the interview:
Klassen was born on February 20, 1918, in Rudnerweide (now Rozivka in Chernihivka Raion in Zaporizhzhia Oblast), Ukraine, to Bernhard and Susanna Klassen (née Friesen) a Russian Mennonite Christian couple. He had two sisters and two brothers. When Klassen was nine months old, he caught typhoid fever and nearly died. Due to the Russian Civil War, circumstances during his early childhood were quite difficult. When he was five, the family moved to Mexico, where they lived for one year. In 1925, at age six, he moved with his family to Herschel, Saskatchewan, Canada. He attended the German-English Academy (now Rosthern Junior College).[7][1]
And before that:
Bernhardt "Ben" Klassen[1] (February 20, 1918 (O.S. February 7, 1918) – August 6, 1993) was an American politician and white supremacist religious leader. He founded the Church of the Creator with the publication of his book Nature's Eternal Religion in 1973. Klassen was openly racist, antisemitic and anti-Christian and first popularized the term "Racial Holy War" within the White Power movement.[2]

At one point, Klassen was a Republican Florida state legislator, as well as a supporter of George Wallace's presidential campaign. In addition to his religious and political work, Klassen was an electrical engineer and he was also the inventor of a wall-mounted electric can-opener.[3][4][5] Klassen held unorthodox views about dieting and health. He was a natural hygienist who opposed the germ theory of disease as well as conventional medicine and promoted a fruitarian, raw food diet.[6]
Overall, it appears more effort has been spent promoting the interview than verifying the sources and the content. That is often the case with "history" used for political purposes.
