The Ukrainian army have disrupted an agreed ceasefire with the OSCE, for the duration of the maintenance of a CCTV camera, in the south of Donbass. This was announced today by the head of the Center for Control and Coordination of the ceasefire regime, Ruslan Yakubov.

Ukraine breaks temporary ceasefire - OSCE cannot carry out their work
http://www.fort-russ.com/2017/11/ukraine-breaks-temporary-ceasefire-osce.html

Yesterday, both sides agreed to security guarantees for the OSCE mission to carry out maintenance of the CCTV camera installed in Shirokino. In addition, together with a repair group, they were supposed to fix some of the damage sustained in the shelling of Kominternovo village earlier today. The OSCE has not been able to depart for the mission as the Ukrainian army had opened fire on the village of Kominternovo" - he said.

The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (CMM) located the artillery of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Donbass, inside the agreed restricted zone, where no weapons can be stationed.

OSCE find Ukrainian Army artillery in restricted areas

Observers in the government-controlled areas saw six self-propelled howitzers "Gvozdika" and two C-1 calibers 122 mm near the town of Kurakhovo, 40 km from Donetsk.

In addition, the mission's observers discovered two T-72 tanks. They stood on freight platforms in the area of the city of Volnovaha, controlled by Kiev.

This is by no means the first violation of by Ukrainian artillery. A few days ago, on November 5, the DPR stated that the Ukrainian Army had used the Grad rocket fire system against Donbass settlements. As a result of the shelling, a number of civilians were hurt and civilian infrastructure was destroyed - the Russian Federation has initiated a criminal case on the matter.

Five villages in the south of the Dnieper were left without power as a result of night shelling by Ukrainian security forces. This was reported by the head of the regional administration, Anatoly Yanovsky.

300 residents left without power due to shelling

"The APU fired from the heavy machinery. As a result, residents of villages Leninskoye, Zaichenka, Sergeevka, Dzerzhinsky, Kominternovo were left without light. In total approximately 300 people are affected."

He added that there are no victims as a result of shelling. At the moment, repairs are being carried out on power lines.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that he will hold talks with the leadership of the People's Republic of Donetsk and the People's Republic of Lugansk, on the proposal to exchange prisoners. This was stated in response to Viktor Medvedchuk, leader of the pro-Russian public movement "Ukrainian Choice - the right of the People".

For the first time: Putin to hold talks with Donbass leaders personally
http://www.fort-russ.com/2017/11/for-first-time-putin-to-hold-talks-with.html

This is the first official announcement of direct talks between Putin and the leadership of both Donbass republics.

Medvedchuk and Putin spoke during their combined visit to Istra, exploring the New Jerusalem Monastery.

According to Medvedchuk, Ukraine is ready to exchange 306 prisoners for 74 people captured by the forces of the Donbass, and they would like to do this before Christmas and New Year. Medvedchuk asked Putin to address the heads of the republics, Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Plotnitsky, to bring this exchange to fruition.

Patriarch Kirill of Moscow, who was also present at the conversation, asked Putin to support Medvedchuk's appeal.

"I will do everything that depends on me. I will talk with the leadership of the Donetsk republic and the Lugansk republic. I hope that what you are proposing will be realized, and as soon as possible," Putin replied.

On Sott there was Former member of security services to Georgian ex-president Saakashvili reveals he was hired to be a sniper and "sow chaos" at Maidan in 2014 It is from: _http://www.ilgiornale.it/news/politica/versione-dei-cecchini-sulla-strage-kiev-ordini-1463409.html

Ukraine, the hidden truths Speak to the snipers of Maidan

NOV 16, 2017 64 COMMENTI EUROPA,HIGHLIGHTS,UKRAINE GIAN MICALESSIN
Who has massacred over eighty between demonstrators and police gathered in Maidan Nezalezhnosti, the independence Square of Kiev, the heart and symbol – up to that fateful February 20, 2014 – demonstrations in favour of the association agreement tothe european Union? The opposition is anti-Russian who became the government after the ouster of president wire Russian Viktor Yanukovych he always pointed the finger against the special forces of the deposed president, accusing them of having sent a team of snipers to fire on protesters to drown the protest in a bath of blood. Already then, however, many raised doubts and concerns.

_https://youtu.be/zsJoOvVtJYM

The first to dispute that version was Estonian foreign minister Urmas Paet. Returned from a trip to Kiev was made only 5 days after the massacre, reported in a telephone call to the commissioner of foreign affairs of the European Union Catherine Ashton, the revelations to be obtained from a doctor of ukraine, who examined the corpses of the Maidan. The phone call intercepts and spread by Russian media is staggering.

“The most disturbing thing – says Paet – is that all the evidence shows that the people killed by snipers – both policemen, and among the people in the street – were killed by the same snipers...”. Before the perplexity of a Ashton visibly embarrassed, the minister cites the testimony of dr. ukraine. “You speak as the doctor says that this is the same signature, the same type of bullets. It's really disturbing that now the new coalition, " he said Paet – you refuse to investigate what really happened. There is a conviction very strong that behind the snipers there are.... There is Yanukovych, but somebody from the new coalition...”.

In the four years since the beginning in November 2013 of the events of the Maidan, we are able to describe another truth, that is completely different from the official one. Our story begins towards the end of the summer 2017 Skopye the capital of Macedonia. There, after a long and complex preliminary we can meet Koba Nergadze and Kvarateskelia Zalogy two Georgian players, and the witnesses of that tragic shooting and the subsequent massacre.

Both Nergadze is Zalogy are related to the ex-president of georgia Mikhail Saakashvili, the protagonist in August 2008 a short but bloody war with the Russia of Vladimir Putin. Nergadze, as evidenced by a card identifier remained in his possession, was a member of a security service on the orders of the president. Zalogy is a former activist of the party of Saakashvili. “I decided to come From to tell you everything that we know about what happened....my friend and I have decided together, we must shed light on those facts” – repeats Nergadze. The same tell you a few months later Alexander Revazishvilli a former marksman of the Georgian army, the protagonist of the shooting of the Maidan, met in another Country in Eastern Europe. All three of our protagonists tell of having been recruited at the end of 2013 by Mamuka Mamulashvili, a military adviser to Saakashvili, who after the events of Maidan will move in the Donbass to lead the so-called Legion of the Georgian in the clashes with the rebels wire Russian. “The first meeting was with Mamulashvili at the office of the National Movement – tells Zalogy – the revolt in Ukraine in 2013 was similar to the “Revolution pink” happened in Georgia years before. We had to steer and drive by applying the same scheme as used for the “Revolution of Rose”.

The version of Alexander is no different. “Mamuka first thing he asked me if I was really a shooter – recalls Alexander, after he told me that he needed me in Kiev to choose some of the stations”. Our protagonists, aggregated to various groups of volunteers between November 2013 and January 2014, receive passports with fake names and an advance in money. “We started on the 15th of January, and on the plane – remember Zalogy – I received my passport, and another with my photos, but with the name and surnames of the different. Then we were given a thousand dollars apiece, promising to give us the other five thousand more in there”.

_https://youtu.be/Lth2Joe2Imw

Once in Kiev, our three protagonists begin to better understand the reasons for which they were recruited. “Our task, " explains Alexandere – was to organize provocations to push the police to charge the crowd. Until the middle of February, however, there were many weapons around. They used to the utmost, the molotov, the shields and the sticks.” In mid-February, however, the clashes around the Maidan are beginning to become more and more heavy. “Around the 15th and 16th of February – remember Nergadze – the situation has started to become every day more serious. Now that he was out of control. And in the meantime we heard the first gunshots.” With the increase of the voltage coming into the game new players

“One day, around February 15 – recalled Alexander – Mamualashvili personally visited our tent. With him there was another man in uniform. He introduced himself and told us that she was an instructor, an american military”. The american military is called Brian Christopher Boyenger and is a former officer and marksman in the 101st airborne division of the united states. After Maidan will move to the front of the Donbass where he will fight amongst the ranks of the Legion and the Georgian by the side of the Mamulashvili.

“We were always in contact with this Bryan – says Nergadze – he was a man of Mamulashvili. It was he who gave us the orders. I had to follow all his instructions”.

The first suspicions about the presence of firearms among the ranks of the demonstrators involve Serghey Pashinsky, a leader of the Maidan Square became, after the fall of Yanukovych, the president of the parliament of Kiev. 18 February – as it shows a movie filmed that day – from the trunk of a car blocked by protesters check a submachine gun. A few seconds after Pashinsky and closer and sort of let it go. The day after a few bags full of weapons are distributed to groups of militants, georgians, and lithuanians residing in the Hotel Ukraine, the hotel overlooking the square, used as the headquarters by the opposition

“In those days, Pashinsky and three other people – including Parasyuk – have brought to the hotel bags with the weapons they were the ones to bring them in my room” – says Nergadze. Volodymyr Parasyuk is one of the leaders of the protest in Maidan square. After the massacre of demonstrators to become famous as an ultimatum, in which he'll threaten to use arms to oust president Viktor Yanukovych.

“The February 18 – recalled Zalogy – someone has brought weapons even in my room. In the room with me there were two lithuanians, weapons if the are taken from them.” “In each bag – remember Nergadze – there were guns Makarov , submachine guns, Akm, rifles. And then there were packs of cartridges. When I saw them on the first I did not understand.... When it arrived Mamulashvili I asked him. “What's going on – I said, " of what use are these weapons? And’ are you all right? “Koba things are getting complicated, we must begin to shoot – I responded – we can not go to early presidential elections ...” “But to whom should we shoot? And where?- I asked him – He told me that the where didn't matter, it was necessary to shoot somewhere... just to sow a bit of chaos.”

While Nergadze and Zalogy assist in the distribution of weapons at the hotel Ukraine Alexander Revazishvilli and other volunteers reach the Conservatory, another palace that dominates the square. “Will was on the 16th of February...Pashinsky we were ordered to collect our things and led us inside ....Then came other people, they were nearly all masked. From the bags I get it... they carried weapons.... They pulled out and distributed to the various groups.. he Spoke only Pashinsky... “he Was the one to give the orders. To me churches from that part we had to shoot” . “In the meantime – says Nergadze and also at the hotel Ukraine, the leaders of the uprising emphasize the hypothesis of resorting to arms. “They told us to shoot to create chaos and confusion. Not we had to stop. It didn't matter if we shot at a tree, a fence or the one who threw the molotov cocktails. The important thing was to sow chaos.” 20 morning, the weapons come into action. “It had to be the dawn – remember Zalogy – when I heard the noise of the shots ... they were not gusts of wind, were individual shots ... they were coming from the next room. At the same time the lithuanians have opened the window. One of them has fired a shot, while the other closed the window. All have shot three or four times”. Alexander, while admitting that he was involved in the shooting from the building of the Conservatory claims to have understood very little. “All have started to shoot two or three shots at a time. We did not have much of a choice. We were ordered to shoot both on the Berkut, the police, both on the demonstrators, without making a difference. I was totally blown away. It went on for fifteen minutes...maybe twenty. I was off of me, agitated, under stress, I did Not understand anything. Then, suddenly, after 15, 20 minutes, the shots are no longer in office and they all put down the weapons”. While the wounded and dead arrive in the lounge of the Hotel Ukraine snipers flee from the room. And so the victims are found next to their murderers. “The inside – remember Nergadze – there was chaos, didn't understand who they were the one and the other . People ran back and forth. Someone was hurt... someone was armed. Outside was even worse. In the streets there were many wounded. And the dead are all around”. Alexander says he's gone in a hurry. “Someone shouted that there were snipers, I knew what they were talking about – explain – my only thought was to disappear, before you noticed me. Otherwise I did it in pieces. At that moment, I realized then, however, he explained, I understood it. We've been used. Used and trapped”.
It seeems that no matter how much evidence is provided few ask questions and policies remains unchanged as if they were unrelated to reality. The piece about the former American soldier was interesting, the cooperation with Georgia points back to the time of the Georgian colour revolutions, the Georgian incursion into Osetia and the following war with Russia.

Ukraine to pay US $1.4 billion to become a "nuclear dump"
http://www.fort-russ.com/2017/11/ukraine-to-pay-us-14-billion-to-become.html

Outside Kiev, they have begun to build a repository for used nuclear fuel, in order to abandon the apparently expensive Russian waste services.
The authorities assure that it does not carry a threat to people, but local residents and environmentalists are seriously concerned.

Not far from Kiev, in the Chernobyl exclusion zone, the construction of a centralized storage of used nuclear fuel has begun. The construction site is located between the former villages of Staraya Krasniţa, Buryakivka, Chistogalovka and Stechanka of the Kiev region. As reported in the Ministry of Energy, the cost of construction will cost Ukraine $ 1.4 billion. The facility will be a platform which will build concrete containers of nuclear waste. The full construction is planned to be erected within 16.5 years in 15 stages.

"Financing will be carried out by the operator of Ukraine's NPPs - Energoatom company, without attracting funds from the state budget, while more than 80% of the amount ($ 1.17 billion) will be spent on technological equipment," the agency noted.

So far, in Ukraine there was only one such storage facility - at Zaporizhzhya NPP. To date, used fuel at Ukrainian NPPs was shipped for processing to Russia. For this, depending on the volume, Ukraine annually paid $ 150-200 million. Therefore, in order to save money, the authorities decided to build their own nuclear burial ground 100 km from the capital - with an American company.

Are the savings justified? - As the head of the Supervisory Board of the Institute of Energy Strategies, Yuri Korolchuk, stated - in the current political situation the construction looks favourable, but the main question is how effectively the project will be implemented.

"Despite the fact that the construction company will be working with the American company Holtec, its own specialists will not be working in Ukraine. Instead, they will involve other contractors, maybe even Ukrainian ones, so how much the project will be environmentally safe and technically effective remains a mystery," says Korolchuk.

At the same time, he noted: from an economic point of view, the project can really benefit Ukraine. "Maintenance of the storage will also cost money, but, most likely, much less than the payment for sending used fuel to Russia. But nobody excludes that in the future Ukraine will not want to earn extra money as a "nuclear dump", providing storage services to other countries. For example, Westinghouse will definitely store its used fuel here. "said Korolchuk.

Market redistribution - A significant role in the decision-making process on the storage was taken by the American nuclear fuel producer Westinghouse, which has been trying for many years to replace Soviet nuclear reactors at Ukrainian nuclear power plants.

"Westinghouse already supplies its fuel to the Zaporizhye and South Ukrainian NPPs and is going to supply them to other Ukrainian stations. And without this repository, Americans simply could not have mass supplies of their fuel going to Ukraine, because then it would have nowhere to go after it had been used - according to the Convention on the Management of Nuclear Waste and Fuel, the producer country should take its waste back."

Is there a risk? - There are purely environmental claims to the repository. One of the main, according to the ecologist Vladimir Boreiko, is that the decision to build it was taken without serious discussion with the public, as required by the IAEA statute.

It is unsafe to store nuclear waste in principle, let alone 100 km from Kiev. Moreover, no one asked the local residents if they want to live next to such a repository,"Boreiko stressed. At the same time, he said, there are risks associated with the transportation of waste, because any train carriage transporting nuclear waste is highly explosive, therefore there is room for accidents.

However, the biologist of the Chernobyl Center for Nuclear Safety, Sergei Gashchak, believes that there are no grounds for concern about this facility. "The security of such facilities depends on the project and how the construction will be carried out. " - he said, focusing on project management safety practices.

Nuclear waste storage facilities have existed in the world for a long time, but they are usually built a long distance away from large cities. France, for example, has them on islands of the Pacific Ocean, the USA in the desert, Russia in Siberia, and the countries of Northern Europe in cliffs on the sea coast.

Yesterday evening there was one TV show by one Macedonian journalist that was advertised by him as an exclusive one and first of its kind in the world.
The show is actually an interview with 2 Georgian members of the armed forces ( snipers ) that were part of the paramilitary forces that were shooting on the Ukranian police and civilians at Maidan during the coup that happened in Ukraine.

I don't know if these people are really who they say that they are. It is very interesting to hear how all this was organized by the deep state and the whole dynamic of it, told by actual participants in the event.

The video is in Macedonian Language and the subtitles are on Russian or Ukraine Language.

There will be few more shows/interviews following weeks with another member of the same paramilitary squad that participated in the Maidan chaos.

Edited:

The people in the interview are not the ones who were shooting at the people. They were just members of the paramilitary forces that were trained and should do that but they refused to be part of that slaughter in the last minute when they realized what is going to happen. The shooting was done by other people and the interviewed people were eyewitnesses of all that dirty game.

Watch this incredible interview of foreign ex military men from Gruzia who were recruited to start the chaos in Kiev which kick started the coup.

Pay close attention to how easy the Gruzian military men were recruited (for just a $1,000) and were kept unaware of the real mission until the end when guns were introduced. The Americans kept their “public” involvement at minimum, however did have an operative present at the Ukraine Hotel, which was the main staging ground for all operations including the main base for the hired snipers.

Lithuanians were the most eager of all snipers, however many report after the coup have suggested two Polish teams were introduced as well who were described just as eager, if not more. The West brought nearly dozen teams, taking into account that some would refuse to shoot at unarmed civilians and police. Half were sent to the Conservatory building, the other half appears to have been placed at the hotel.

Ukrainians who ‘assisted’ with the operations at the Ukraina Hotel were all given high ranking positions in the new Government.

It’s a fascinating interview, and this is just the first part of how ex military men from the Soviet bloc desperate for money are hired by the West and used to destabilize countries, Governments.

It is good some speak up, the people interviewed also appear in the Italien production I mentioned earlier. They have been used obviously, and they are not alone, but few realize perhaps until later.

I've been thinking about this lately and about Saakashvili and his association with the snipers ( former member of his security services) and how he got the Ukrainian citizenship and became the governor of the Odessa, all this can be related.

Maryna Poroshenko, the wife of Petro Poroshenko, Ukrainian President, may be involved in the looting of funds provided by international humanitarian assistance to Ukraine from European countries and the USA to support disabled children. That is proved by materials given to journalists by one of the Ministry of Justice officers.

It is also referred to the funds given as the support disabled children by George Soros International Renaissance Foundation providing tenths, or even hundreds million dollars.

That's a great report, Konstantin! Good find! It's the first time that I have come across that kind of information. It's good - the truth is starting to surface.

I came across another news article, with the same information, by Eric Zuesse:

Participants in 2014 Ukrainian coup confess
http://rinf.com/alt-news/newswire/participants-2014-ukrainian-coup-confess/

The overthrow of the democratically elected President of Ukraine in February 2014 was one of the most important geostrategic occurrences during the past century, because it led to the breakaway from Ukraine of the two regions — Crimea and Donbass — that had been the most opposed to the overthrow, and that had voted over 75% for the President who had been overthrown. And those two breakaways from Ukraine were then presented in the U.S.-allied “The West” as having resulted from ‘Russian aggression’, which then became punished, first by economic sanctions against Russia, and then by massive NATO military buildups on Russia’s borders. But, now, some of the participants in the coup are going public about the matter, because the people who had hired them cheated even them.

The Italian newspaper Il Giornale, and Italian Mediaset Matrix TV, Chanel 5, issued, on November 15th, confessions by a few of the snipers who on 20 February 2014 fired down into the crowd of “Maidan” demonstrators and police, in order “to sow chaos,” as they say that they had been instructed to do.

The Georgian mercenary Alexander Revazishvilli said: “Everyone started shooting two or three shots at a time. It went on for fifteen, twenty minutes. We had no choice. We were ordered to shoot both on the police and the demonstrators, without any difference.” This account is entirely consistent with the leaked phone-conversation on 26 February 2014 in which Urmas Paet, the investigator whom the EU had assigned to determine whom to blame for the snipers and their massive bloodshed during the overthrow, informed the EU’s Foreign Affairs chief, Catherine Ashton, that the anti-Yanukovych, pro-U.S. and pro-EU side, were to blame, and that Paet had just been informed of this by Petro Poroshenko (who shortly thereafter became elected as Ukraine’s figurehead President). Paet said:

what was quite disturbing, the same oligarch [Poroshenko — and so when he became President he already knew this] told that well, all the evidence shows that the people who were killed by snipers, from both sides, among policemen and people from the streets, [this will shock Ashton, who had just said that Yanukovych had masterminded the killings] that they were the same snipers, killing people from both sides [so, Poroshenko himself knows that his regime is based on a false-flag U.S.-controlled coup d’etat against his predecessor]

Revazishvilli, and the others confessing, have never yet received the $5,000 each, that they say they’d been promised, and so they finally are going public against the person whom they say had actually hired them for the coup. They name him as “Mamuka Mamulashvili, Saakashvili’s military advisor.”

That’s Mikheil Saakashvilli, the U.S.-imposed President of Georgia, during 2008-2013, who, after becoming extremely unpopular in Georgia, and convicted in absentia there for corruption, became subsequently the U.S.-imposed Governor of the Odessa region of Ukraine. He always suppressed speakers of the Russian language (such as Odessans are), in both countries, both of which nations border Russia (which is why the U.S. regime especially wants to place its missiles there). He now has no citizenship of any country, because he is outlawed both in his original country, Georgia, and in his adopted country, Ukraine. As being the 30 May 2014 appointed Governor of Odessa (where on 2 May 2014 had been perpetrated by the U.S-imposed regime a horrific massacre of locals there against the coup), he turned out to be too rabid a hater of Russians to be acceptable even to the U.S. regime’s figurehead President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, and so was removed and expelled from Ukraine.

The coup itself had been in preparation by the regime of U.S. President Barack Obama ever since 2011. It was a major plan of Obama but kept secret from the public until the coup was sprung in February 2014, such as is shown in this recorded phone-conversation, where Obama’s agent on Ukraine, Victoria Nuland, tells Obama’s Ukrainian Ambassador, Geoffrey Pyatt, whom to place in charge of Ukraine after the coup will be completed, which occurred 22 days later. The coup itself hired far-right mercenaries from not only Georgia and Lithuania (such as are here confessing to these Italian newsmedia), but also from Israel and unnamed other countries, but above all from Ukraine itself — members of both of Ukraine’s two racist-fascist or idelogically nazi Parties, the Right Sector, and the “Freedom” or “Svoboda,” Party (which latter had previously been called the Social Nationalist Party of Ukraine until the U.S. CIA told them to change their name to “Freedom,” which sounds much better to Americans).

The two heads of the coup, organizing it on the ground in Ukraine, were the Right Sector’s founder Dmitriy Yarosh, and the co-founder of Svoboda, Andriy Parubiy.

Parubiy, who had actually planned and led that violence, had hired Mamulashvili and others like him; Parubiy was referred to, even by wikipedia, in this way: “From December 2013 to February 2014 Parubiy was a commandant of Euromaidan. He was coordinator of the volunteer security corps [i.e.: of the mercenaries] for the mainstream protesters.[17].” In addition, there were paid ‘protesters,’ to add mere bodies and voices to the crowds. And, “Parubiy co-led the Orange Revolution in 2004.” That was a straightforward CIA operation. So, Parubiy was an expert at organizing a coup for Washington. But, the people who now are going public about their participations in the coup didn’t know anything above the man who had hired them: “Mamuka Mamulashvili, Saakashvili’s military advisor.” In March 2016, Parubiy (the man who had actually hired Mamulashvili and a few others like him) was specially honored and received in Washington as a hero of democracy, by NATO’s PR agency, the Atlantic Council.

All of this is kept secret, from the American public, by the U.S. regime’s ‘news’media. This is important for them to do, because when Obama in 2014 imposed economic sanctions against Russia, and when the U.S. regime’s NATO military alliance against Russia, began sending missiles, troops, and bombers, to and near Russia’s borders in order to ‘defend’ NATO against ‘the Russian threat’ and ‘Russia’s aggression against Ukraine’, it was all ‘justified’ on the basis of that coup’s having been not a coup at all that the U.S. had perpetrated right on Russia’s border, but instead a ‘revolution’ that brought ‘democracy’ to Ukraine by (unconstitutionally) overthrowing Ukraine’s democratically elected President, Viktor Yanukovych.

George Orwell’s 1984 Big Brother is alive and well in ‘the free world’, the ‘democratic West.’ But apparently, Italy isn’t quite as much of a dictatorship as is today’s United States.

This news-report is — like all that I do — being sent free of charge for publication to all U.S. and many of its vassal-nations’ ‘news’ media; and, so, if you don’t read about it, or any such news, in the New York Times, or in the New Yorker, or in the Washington Post, or Mother Jones, or National Review, or CNN, or Slate, or the Guardian, or the Independent, or etc., then you know why you don’t. It’s not because the ‘reporters’ and the editors and managers who hire and fire them, really believe that the coup in Ukraine wasn’t a coup, and that Russia, instead of the U.S., is the world’s ultimate aggressor-nation; it’s instead because they themselves are part of the aggressor-regime, the national government (both public and private) that’s overwhelmingly recognized, by people outside the U.S., to be “the biggest threat to peace” in the entire world. They know this — that they’re propagandists for America’s dictatorship — but Americans don’t; because the ‘news’ they receive never reports it (just like they never report that they had covered up George W. Bush’s lying about ’Saddam’s WMD’ etc.). The biggest news-stories are therefore the ones that the press won’t report, because the press are a crucial part of the perpetrator-regime itself. And this is called ‘democracy’. It’s ‘democracies’ such as this that perpetrate such atrocities as Iraq 2003, Libya 2011, Syria since 2012, and Ukraine 2014; and they couldn’t do it without the crucial lying. Up next are Iran, Lebanon, and maybe, finally, Russia itself; and the lying against Russia is and has been nonstop, especially after 2011. Russia lies about small matters such as about sports-doping, but America lies about big matters, such as about which of the two nations is the aggressor against the other. Regarding the serious matters, Russia’s news media are vastly more-honest than are America’s, and should therefore be read in preference to TIME, NYT, WP, CNN, etc. But, of course, none of the U.S. regime’s ‘news’ media will allow this fact to be published. And a world-ending nuclear war could result from that.

Ukraine was seized by the U.S. regime as part of the plan to conquer ultimately Russia. This plan crucially includes adding, to NATO, Ukraine — which has Europe’s longest border with Russia. The only way to end that neo-Hitlerite plan is to end NATO now. In the U.S. regime’s ‘news’media, any such proposal cannot be debated, much less advocated. So, wherever you are reading this, is definitely not a part of the regime. It is an authentically free and independent newsmedium, a reliable news-source regarding serious international matters. All the rest — they’re liars; that’s their job.

Double-crossed Maidan snipers on TV in Italy: Paymaster -- head of Georgian Security; Orders -- cause chaos (Video)

The snipers' version of the massacre in Kiev: "Orders from the opposition"

In Ukraine in 2014 80 people were killed. The accusations fall against the anti-Yanukovich front.

"Everyone started shooting two or three shots at a time. It went on for fifteen, twenty minutes. We had no selectivity. We were ordered to shoot both on the police and the demonstrators, without making any distinction. "I was totally outraged."

So Georgian Alexander Revazishvilli remembers the tragic shootout of February 20, 2014 in Kiev when a group of mysterious snipers opened fire on crowds and police, massacring over 80 people.

That massacre horrified the world and changed the destiny of Ukraine by forcing the flight of pro-russian President Viktor Yanukovich, who got accused of organizing the shootout. But the massacre also changed the fates of Europe and our country, triggering the crisis that would lead to the sanctions against Putin's Russia. Sanctions that brought a boomerang against the Italian economy (Watch the video).

But the confessions of Revazishvilli and two other Georgians -- gathered by writers in the documentary "Ukraine, the hidden truths" airing tonight at 23.30 on Matrix, Channel 5 -- reveal a different and disconcerting truth. The truth of a massacre that was carried out by the same opposition that accused Yanukovych and his Russian allies.

Revazishvilli and his two companions -- interviewed in the documentary -- are a former member of the security services of ex Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili and two former militants of his own party. Hired in Tbilisi by Mamuka Mamulashvili, Saakashvili's military adviser, they were assigned to support - along with other Georgian and Lithuanian volunteers - ongoing demonstrations in Kiev in return for a $5,000 final fee.

Equipped with fake passports, they arrived in Ukraine to coordinate demonstrations and provoke the Ukrainian police, initially without using weapons. The weapons come arrived on February 18 and were distributed to the various Georgian and Lithuanian groups by Mamulashvili and other leaders of the Ukrainian opposition.

"There were three or four weapons in each bag, there were Makarov guns, Akm guns, rifles, and packs of cartridges." The following day Mamulashvili and the leaders of the protest explained to volunteers that they would face a police assault at the Conservatory building and at the Ukrainian hotel. In that case - he says - we must shoot at the square and sow chaos.

But one of the protagonists confesses to having received another explanation, much more comprehensive. "When Mamulashvili arrived, I also asked him. If things get complicated, should we start shooting - he replied that we can not go to the upcoming presidential elections. But who should we shoot? "I asked. He replied that who and where did not matter, you had to shoot anywhere where just to sow chaos."

"It did not matter if we fired at a tree, or a barricade, or at somebody with a molotov. confirms another volunteer - what counted was sowing confusion. I heard the screams," confessed Alexander - "there were dead and injured. My first and only thought was to get out in a hurry before they caught up with me. Otherwise they would tear me to pieces. Someone was already shouting that there were snipers."

Four years later Alexander and his two companions reported that they had not yet received the slightest reward and had also decided to tell the truth about those who used them and abandoned them.

"At that time I did not realize, I didn't get it, then I understood. We've been used. Used and stuck."

Ukraine's first lady, Marina Poroshenko, is suspected of involvement in money laundering through international humanitarian agencies, which were intended to help children with disabilities. This is reported by the Luxembourg Herald with reference to a source in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.

Rock bottom: Poroshenko wife laundered money intended for needy children
http://www.fort-russ.com/2017/11/rock-bottom-poroshenko-wife-laundered.html

Marina Poroshenko, the wife of the president, personally "controls" the flow of funds to the accounts of these organisations and actively participates in their promotion says the article.

According to the publication, the United States and European countries transferred money for the needs of Ukrainian children with disabilities, via fake international humanitarian aid agencies. Funds from these accounts of charitable organizations were transferred to different firms, including offshore ones, and then the agencies were closed, the publication says.

The Luxembourg publication separately mentions the organization of the International Renaissance Foundation by George Soros, through which tens and hundreds of millions of dollars have passed for this scheme.

A source in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine also provided Luxembourg journalists with data on the activities of the charitable organization "Strong Ukraine", in which Marina Poroshenko participated. According to the source, after the fund's organizers appropriated money, they decided to liquidate the enterprises.

Deputy head of the presidential administration of Ukraine, Rostislav Pavlenko, is also suspected of involvement in this corruption scheme.

3 Scenarios for the Coup in the Lugansk People's Republic
http://www.fort-russ.com/2017/11/3-scenarios-for-coup-in-lugansk-peoples.html

As of November 23rd, the situation in the Lugansk People’s Republic remains tense and uncertain. However, the developments in Lugansk have by no means been only negative. Moreover, if Ukraine has been hoping for a civil war in Lugansk, then it is already facing disappointment.

So what has happened, and what is happening in Lugansk? The Ministry of State Security and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Donetsk People’s Republic issued an official statement on November 22nd, which reads: “As a result of joint counter-intelligence and anti-sabotage operations with the Ministry of State Security of the Lugansk People’s Republic, key members of a criminal group operating under the control of the third special forces regiment of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, have been arrested.”

Furthermore, according to the DPR statement, Ukrainian intelligence agencies planned to destabilize the political situation in Donbass by murdering LPR security authorities. LPR Interior Minister Igor Korney warned on November 23rd that Kiev could have reasserted control over the republic within two weeks if collusion between the LPR leadership and Ukraine continued. Following a successful discharge of Kornet from interior ministry leadership, the next morning the republic could have been infiltrated and paralyzed by the third special forces regiment of Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate. “But we have succeeded [in preventing this],” Kornet said.

As of the evening of November 23rd, the government building in Lugansk remains cordoned off by armed men, i.e., officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR and the Ministry of State Security of the DPR. Thus, the security agencies of the neighboring Donetsk People’s Republic have rapidly come to the aid of Lugansk in preventing a pro-Ukrainian conspiracy in the highest echelons of power in the LPR.

Back on November 22nd, unidentified men in military uniform occupied the Prosecutor’s Office of the LPR, and Prosecutor General Vitaly Podobry and military prosecutor Sergey Razno were arrested. Earlier, the leadership of the LPR prosecutor were accused by Kornet of working for Ukrainian intelligence. Indeed, we know that this state agency had hired employees of Ukraine’s prosecutor, and Prosecutor General Zaur Ismailov resigned just a month ago, which was gladly welcomed by the public. The Prosecutor’s Office thus has a reputation of pro-Ukrainian and corrupt elements.

But first and foremost, many questions remain concerning the head of the Lugansk People’s Republic, Igor Plotnitsky. My sources in the DPR suggested that Plotnitsky had tried to escape to Russia, but was not allowed out of Lugansk. Today a special correspondent of the Russian liberal Novaia Gazeta reported that Plotnitsky had left the republic along with his administration head, Irina Teytsman, the head of the State Television and Radio Company, Anastasia Shurkaeva, and others. My sources in the LPR have not confirmed this information. However, literally while preparing this material, a friend in Moscow close to LPR politics and Plotnitsky personally said that Plotnitsky is most likely in Russia.

If this information is confirmed (and it most likely will be), then a group of whom I would call patriotic security officials has won the power struggle in Lugansk with the help of the DPR. My colleagues in the LPR, Russia, and myself perceive the news of the last few days positively. A powerful and pervasive group of Ukrainian agents of influence in the higher, and possibly also mid-rung power structures of the republic, has been liquidated, and these people were more or less huddled around LPR head Plotnitsky. The very presence of this group makes the republic a weak link in the defense of Donbass from Nazi Ukraine.

I think that Igor Kornet is right in his assessment of the danger of a pro-Ukrainian coup. The LPR very well could have been taken from within thanks to betrayal, corruption, and an extensive network of enemy agents in the highest organs of power in the republic, including the Prosecutor’s Office.

The second reason for cautious optimism is that the republic now finally has the opportunity to begin restoring its industrial potential. Compared to the active development of industrial construction and reconstruction in the neighboring DPR, the stalled factories in the LPR give an onerous impression.

The new change in leadership will present an opportunity to rebuild the LPR economy now free of the considerable setbacks posed by corruption and networks of agents. I propose to return to this topic in the future.

According to the latest data, the situation is as follows.

Lugansk: Igor Kornet is in charge
http://www.fort-russ.com/2017/11/lugansk-igor-kornet-is-in-charge.html

Kornet completely controls Lugansk, Plotnitsky is in the Russian Federation and is feverishly negotiating about his future in the LPR.

His political destiny has not been finally resolved. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the MGB insists on the complete elimination of Plotnitsky,
Moscow is inclined to leave him the nominal head of the republic until the next elections, with the actual absence of real power.

If this option is confirmed tomorrow, Plotnitsky will make a statement explaining what is happening about the work of Ukrainian agents in the higher echelons of power (ie, apparently confirm what Kornet said today).

Otherwise, Plotnitsky will probably not return to the Lugansk Peoples Republic.

Moscow unequivocally sided with Kornet, and the DPR also supported him, sending significant help to Lugansk to prevent the revenge of Plotnitsky.

Kornet received permission from the Russian Federation to clean up Plotnitsky's people in all government bodies in the Lugansk People's Republic.

What can now be said unequivocally: Kornet won, Plotnitsky completely lost, Moscow's trust and control over Lugansk.

Moscow. Russia sent a note to the United States demanding to close the "Peacemaker" site.

Mirotvoretz hit-list site now on US server; Russia sends note demanding to shut it down
http://www.fort-russ.com/2017/11/mirotvoretz-hit-list-site-now-on-us.html

The Ukrainian crisis / 11/23/2017

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has sent a note to the US State Department in connection with the Mirotvoretz "Peacemaker" site. It publishes the personal information of journalists covering events in the Donbass, and has switched to US servers,
TASS reported.

At the moment, there has been no response from the American side. This was reported to journalists on Thursday by Maria Zakharova, the Director of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"We sent a note to the US Department of State, about the characteristics of the" Peacemaker " portal, and this document contains a demand to deny US registration fopr it, as more than one journalist has suffered from the activities of this so-called peacekeeping site," she said. "There has yet been no official response to our appeal, but we will keep this topic under special watch."

"Feel the difference: this close surveillance of any step taken by the Russian media and the information they disseminate, is the maximum creation of an atmosphere of intolerance towards Russian media and [contrast it with] the absolute inaction with respect to a site whose activities are contrary to all norms of corporate ethics," she said.

The diplomat added that the actions of the site "Peacemaker" also undermine the status of journalists, who are "so carefully guarded by the entire world community", and threatens their security.

Site "Peacemaker"

The site "Peacemaker", associated with the Anton Gerashchenko, deputy of the Supreme Rada and adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, was created in the spring of 2014 to establish the identities of the militia of Donbass or people who help them. These are people who, in the opinion of the portal, could commit crimes against the national security of the country. Even such anti-Russian politicians as the leader of the Fatherland Party Yuliya Timoshenko and ex-president of Georgia, former governor of the Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili were included in the number of the "objectionable."

In addition, the "Peacemaker" database contains personal data of journalists for RT, TASS, and also BBC, Reuters, AFP, CNN, Bloomberg, Al Jazeera, Associated Press, Independent newspapers, Libération and other media.

The information resources contain the names of the correspondents, the publications where they work, their positions, mobile phone numbers, e-mail addresses and dates of stay on the territory that is not controlled by the government of Ukraine. At the same time, media workers are accused of "complicity in terrorist organizations".

After a criminal case was initiated in early 2016 against the employees of the Peacemaker project, according to a statement by a group of Ukrainian and foreign journalists, and also in connection with the EU representative's requests for the blocking of the site and its data, the project was closed. But soon the site "Peacemaker" resumed its work despite the numerous protests.

On the merger of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Lugansk People's Republic, it is not yet a question.

Employees of the Ministry of State Security of the Donetsk People's Republic, in a joint operation with the special services of the LPR, have detained ten Ukrainian saboteurs.

Ten Ukrainian saboteurs uncovered within the ranks of Donbass officials
http://www.fort-russ.com/2017/11/ten-ukrainian-saboteurs-uncovered.html

"As a result of joint operations, more than ten people were detained who are suspected of cooperating with Ukrainian special services" it was stated

According to the ministry, the members of the criminal group acted under the control of the command of 3 separate regiments of special purpose of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.

The main task of the saboteurs was to prepare and conduct a number of sabotage and terrorist acts, to destabilize the political situation in the people's republics. With this purpose, the special services of Ukraine, from among the LPR officials, carried out purposeful work to discredit the activities of local law enforcement agencies.

On November 23, news appeared that the head of the LPR, Igor Plotnitsky, had left for Russia, and government buildings were surrounded by armed officers. In the Kremlin, the situation in Lugansk has not been commented yet.

Last week, the LPR was shocked by turbulent events that ended with the resignation of the head of the Republic, Igor Plotnitsky.

Relations between the Minister of Internal Affairs of the LPR, Igor Kornet, and the now former head of the Republic, Plotnitsky, had long been tense. In August 2016, a first attempt was made to dismiss the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the reason being the Ministry of Internal Affairs' attempts to initiate criminal proceedings against Igor Plotnitsky’s personal security agents, who were suspected of committing serious criminal offenses.

This first attempt failed. The first chairman of the People's Council of the LPR, Aleksey Karyakin and the first Prime Minister of the Republic,
Gennady Tsypalkov were forced to leave their posts, and in September 2016 they were accused by Plotnitsky and his circle of attempting a coup d’état.

To recall, Karyakin and Tsypalkov were among the leaders of the protests in the spring of 2014 which resulted in the uprising of the people of Lugansk and the storming of the building of the SBU (the Security Service of Ukraine, often called the Ukrainian Gestapo). They were among the organizers of the referendum on independence of the LPR. At the time of the alleged "conspiracy" in September 2016, Vitaly Kiselev Kiselev served as Deputy Commander of the Lugansk People's Militia. In the summer of 2014, he had played an active part in protecting the Republic from Ukrainian aggression.

Absurd accusations were hurled against Karyakin, Tsypalkov, Kiselev, and others, according to which these figures had attempted to "get the Ukrainian army in Lugansk."

When the "conspiracy" was announced by Plotnitsky, Karyakin in Russia. Tsypkalov and Kiselev were detained on the decision of the LPR General Prosecutor's Office. The day after his arrest, it became known that Gennady Tsypkalov had died. Representatives of the General Prosecutor's Office claimed that Tsypalkov had committed suicide. In fact, as is now known, Tsypkalov was tortured to death in the basement of the General Prosecutor's office. The source of this information later became the confessions of the prosecutors themselves. According to them, Tsypalkov was beaten to death by Plotnitsky’s personal security guard.

Reports then spread that the same fate befell Vitaly Kiselev. However, it soon became known that Kiselev was alive, only in very serious condition, and had been taken to the hospital. On October 21st, 2017, the General Prosecutor's Office of the LPR announced that Kiselev was found guilty of attempting to seize power and sentenced to imprisonment for 12 years and 6 months, with confiscation of all his property and deprivation of his military rank of colonel.

On the same day, October 21st, a new attempt was made to remove the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR, Igor Kornet, during a meeting of the People's Council under Plotnitsky’s control. Numerous accusations were hurled against him. On November 6th, Kornet publicly responded to his accusers from the People's Council, calling them a "pro-Ukrainian fifth column.”

On November 8th, the Ministry of State Security of the Lugansk People's Republic circulated information that Ukrainian special forces were planning to assassinate the leaders of the LPR's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Ministry of State Security. This same Ministry of State Security, on the orders of its head, Leonid Pasechnik, had in October 2015 arrested the Ministry of Coal and Energy, Roman Lyamin, for smuggling coal to Ukraine.
Plotnitsky pardoned Lyamin.

The next day, Plotnitsky personally, in the presence of journalists, evicted Igor Kornet from the house where he lived, and handed the keys to his hostess, Nina Khmelevtsova. Khmelevtsova had lived in Kiev before, and her daughter, Marina Bukaeva (Khmelevtsova), is known for actively supporting the Ukrainian Nazi Aidar battalion. Together with the punitive forces of this battalion, she is directly linked to contraband flows across the demarcation line.

Solemnly, and humiliatingly, in front of press cameras, Kornet, who had distinguished military merits in service of the Republic, was evicted from the house, only for the residence to be solemnly handed over - not for constructive use, such as for a kindergarten, for example - but to sponsors of Aidar.

On November 10th, on a professional militia holiday, it was reported that the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR had been rigged with explosives. From that day on, Igor Kornet put the ministry on self-defense footing, and the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was reinforced protection in "Operation Fortress."

Igor Kornet began publishing revealing materials about Plotnitsky’s entourage and associates. Particular attention was paid to the activities of
Irina Teytsman, the head of the administration of the LPR leader. She was accused of buying the position for $1 million and lobbying the interests of the former governor of the Lugansk region, Vladimir Pristyuk. Teytsman was also accused of smuggling contraband across the front line from the Ukrainian side. As is well known, the main lobbyist of contraband is Poroshenko, who only supported Ukrainian neo-Nazis' blockade of Donbass to end illegal trading once he was presented with a fait accompli.

Kornet's compromising materials were not personally directed against Plotnitsky at this point, but only against Irina Teytsman and the head of Plotnitsky's personal guard, Yevgeny Seliverstov.

The catalyst for confrontation was apparently a telephone conversation on November 15th between Plotnitsky and Russian President Vladimir Putin
regarding the exchange of prisoners with Ukraine. Having seen his personal communication with Putin as a kind of buffer or green light, Plotnitsky went on the attack.

On November 19th, it was announced that Igor Kornet had been dismissed "by court order".

Then "polite people", i.e., unidentified armed men, appeared on the streets of Lugansk. Together with officers of the LPR's Ministry of Internal Affairs, they took the center of Lugansk and the administrative buildings under their guard. It immediately became known that this was a unit and operation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The websites of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of State Security started publishing confessions by representatives of the General Prosecutor's Office and testimonies that Teytsman and Seliverstov had falsified the "coup" in September 2016. The ministries also published reports that the director of the State TV and Radio Company, Anastasia Shurkaeva, had assisted the Ukrainian sabotage group that killed the Deputy Chief of the People's Militia Corps (the de facto Ministry of Defense), Oleg Anashchenko.

The General Prosecutor's Office was cordoned off by armed men. The leadership of the General Prosecutor's Office armed their employees and ordered them to shoot back "to the last bullet." After two days of siege, however, the staff finally managed to leave and return home, and the "polite people" came in and arrested the leaders.

Igor Kornet then stated that if Ukrainian agents efforts' to remove him and the interior ministry's leadership had succeeded, then the next day the third regiment of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense's special forces (the Main Intelligence Directorate) would be ready to invade the Republic.

On November 23rd-24th, Igor Plotnitsky, along with Irina Teytsman and Anastasia Shurkaeva, left for Russia, from where Plotnitsky
announced his voluntary resignation and the transfer of the post of Acting Head of the LPR to Leonid Pasechnik. The sites of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and of the Ministry of State Security published the expository confessions of high-ranking prosecutors about how the case of Tsypkalov's September 2016 "coup" had indeed been falsified by Plotnitsky's associates.

The Ministry of State Security is now investigating the case of Shurkaeva's involvement in the murder of Anashchenko and the discrediting of the Republic's law enforcement agencies. Detained Ukrainian saboteurs who committed acts of sabotage on the territories of the LPR and DPR since 2014 have offered their testimonies, saying that in 2014 Lugansk was shot at with mortars by agents of the Ukrainian special services, who were, at the time, posing as soldiers of the Zarya battalion. At that very time, this battalion was commanded by Plotnitsky. Valeriy Bolotov, the first head of the LPR, shortly before his death, officially announced for the first time that the shelling of the city had been done by fighters from Zarya.

The narrative that the pro-Ukrainian coup was not invented and that Ukrainian Spetsnaz were really ready to enter Lugansk confirms the fact that the functions of the head of the Republic have been transferred to the head of the Ministry of State Security, - not to the Chairman of the People's Council as the Constitution of the LPR stipulates. Deputies of the People's Council urgently voted to amend the relevant article of the Constitution to allow
Pasechnik to become head on November 25th. This amendment and appointment indicates that the situation was indeed extraordinary and required extraordinary measures.

The fact that Plotnitsky signed the Minsk Agreements gives him some immunity. Moreover, it is clear that this capacity was still open for him before leaving for Moscow and resigning from his position. Now Plotnitsky will represent the LPR at the Minsk talks, and Leonid Pasechnik
will try to redeem the Republic from what it degenerated into under Teytsman, Seliverstov and Plotnitsky.

It is very likely that the details behind the shocking murders of militia heroes - those who died not in combat, but from shots in the back - will follow. These "strange deaths" became a symbol of our Republic under Plotnitsky.

The fact that the "coup" operation involved hundreds of armed people but without a single shot fired speaks to the highest professionalism of the LPR's security forces. Swiftly and surgically, a tumor has been removed from the body of the Lugansk People's Republic.

First of all, this should inspire us to tip our hats to Lugansk's security forces. Secondly, it testifies to the fact that they are accountable to the Republic and do not waver or oversleep when it matters. They are responsible for the future of the Lugansk People's Republic. Moreover, LPR's security forces have shown that they act openly only when other methods are impossible, and even then violence is kept to a minimum or even zero.

This inspires hope that the situation in the Lugansk People's Republic will remain under control and now, after this operation, Lugansk and its people will recover.

Peacekeeping efforts in Donbass collapse as Ukraine intensifies bombardments
http://www.fort-russ.com/2017/12/peacekeeping-efforts-in-donbass.html

The withdrawal of Russian officers from the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire in Donbass (JCCC) in Ukrainian-occupied Soledar has now officially been followed by a Ukrainian withdrawal from the JCCC. The OSCE mission in Donbass is now threatened with collapse as its essential participants - Russian and Ukrainian JCCC collaborators - have abandoned their posts.

The center could resume work, as Russia’s Ministry of Defense has laid out its terms for Russian officers returning to work for the JCCC, but in order for this to happen, Ukraine would have to guarantee the smooth implementation of Russian observatory missions and agree to guarantee the security of Russian officers. For now, at least, there is reason to hope that Kiev will capitulate and fulfill these reasonable demands, but not out of good will - but because, in my opinion, a deterioration of the situation in Donbass over the next few weeks is not part of the Ukrainian leadership’s plan.

This view seems to be supported by the ceasefire resolution adopted on December 20th at a session of the Contact Group in Minsk, in which the parties to the conflict in Donbass agreed on a truce for the Christmas and New Year holidays, set to enter into force on December 23rd. While the experience of the “bread truce” and “school truce” do not inspire any optimism (Ukrainian forces broke the school truce literally half an hour into it), it is still very doubtful that Ukraine will risk so daringly violating another agreement. This is why a new, big war in at least the coming days is unlikely.

However, there are also arguments and evidence that contradict this opinion. Over the past several days, the intensity of Ukrainian bombardments has increased. Especially hard hit has been the mining town of Gorlovka located right at the junction of the DPR and LPR’s lines of defense. On December 20th, right after Russia’s officers withdrew from the JCCC, Ukrainian troops shelled 16 residential areas outside of Donetsk. The OSCE itself has since reported that the situation is indeed sharply deteriorating.

On December 20th, I managed to get on the phone my friends from the editorial board of the Cossack Herald newspaper and New Channel of Novorossiya online TV channel based out of Stakhanov in the Lugansk People’s Republic. I can now share with Fort Russ readers the latest news from on the ground.
According to my colleagues, on both December 19th and the night of December 20th Stakhanov and Pervomaysk were subjected to serious shelling from large-caliber mortars, the results of which you can see in their footage:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9gjkXL7xjM (1:41 min.)

According to them, unfortunately, there were casualties - an elderly woman was killed by an exploding mortar.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian media reported on December 20th with reference to unidentified Donetsk residents that the military leadership of the DPR has announced mobilization for combat readiness. According to this unverified information, the New Year holidays of DPR People’s Militia servicemen have been cancelled. We are checking this report with our sources in Donetsk and will keep Fort Russ readers up to date.

Overall, we can say that the situation in Donbass does not inspire any optimism. Not only soldiers, but also politicians on both sides of the front are speaking of the possibility of a new big war. The only question seems to be when the conflict will break out again, and it cannot be ruled out that the outbreak of a new war could be accelerated by the political front, as the tense political situation ongoing in Kiev and the threat posed to President Poroshenko’s authority could lead to the unleashing of a Ukrainian blitzkrieg.

We have more than once expressed our opinion that the Ukrainian leadership has attentively studied Lenin’s tactics in the run up to the Bolsheviks' seizure of power, namely, the tactic of turning an imperialist, external war into a civil war. Poroshenko is currently working in the opposite direction to turn the internal civil war - which will inevitably take his authority, savings, and probably life - into an external war, even at the cost of the full and final defeat of the Ukrainian Army. The oligarch president’s interests are being put above the interests of the whole country, or what is left of it.

On December 18th, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that 75 officers of Russia’s armed forces are quitting the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire in Donbass stationed in Soledar (Ukrainian-occupied DPR territory). Further work of the Russian officers in the JCCC has been deemed “impossible” due to their lack of jurisdiction and an intense psychological and political atmosphere.

War on the Horizon? Russian aides pressured out of Donbass peacekeeping
http://www.fort-russ.com/2017/12/war-on-horizon-russian-aides-pressured.html

According to Russia’s defense ministry, the Ukrainians have deliberately impeded Russian officers from carrying out their duties. Their freedom of movement has been severely restricted, and Ukrainian spies have accompanied the Russian officers wherever they go. The straw that broke the camel’s back, however, was Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada’s adoption of a new law on Russian citizens visiting Ukraine set to enter into force on January 1, 2018.

In particular, this new law compels all Russian officers from the JCCC visiting Ukraine to disclose all information on their place of birth, the location of their families, their service and training records, etc. In other words, Russian officers helping to monitor the ceasefire have been subjected to overt psychological pressure and their families could be put in danger.

The JCCC was established to resolve practical problems facing the OSCE’s Special Monitoring Mission, whose employees initially appealed to Russian officers from the JCCC to handle communication with the command of the armies of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, as well as coordinate the routes of international observers.

Russian officers therefore fulfilled the role of intermediaries, insofar as the Ukrainians and OSCE SMM are not in direct contact the unrecognized DPR and LPR. This scheme is far from convenient, but it was accepted as necessary in the midst of the critical situation in Donbass.

The history of the monitoring mission in Donbass is a shady one. In late April 2017, an American citizen working as an observer for the OSCE SMM was killed in an explosion when he ignored the rules on movement around the village of Prishin on the frontline between the LPR and Ukraine. The People’s Militia of the LPR provided convincing evidence that a Ukrainian sabotage group was involved in the American's murder, but the case was hushed up.

Moreover, repeated cases have been exposed in which Ukrainian attacks directly correlate with the observatory missions of the OSCE, whose employees always manage to leave the scene before Ukrainian shells come raining down. In Avdeevka last year, OSCE employees were caught hanging around Ukrainian tanks in residential areas.

A direct consequence of the withdrawal of Russian officers from the JCCC will be the complication of the OSCE SMM’s work, and, as follows, increasing danger facing its employees. However, there is an more distant, but even more dangerous prospect visible on the surface of this turmoil. In my opinion, this event speaks to a sharp increase in the threat of war breaking out.

To be more precise, it suggests that we are nearing the beginning of a new war in Donbass.

Over the past two and a half years since the Debaltsevo cauldron and signing of the second Minsk Agreements, the Ukrainians have steadily amassed military vehicles and soldiers along the borders of the Donbass republics. Their troops have been instructed and trained by NATO officers. In Ukraine, de-facto NATO operational bases have been established (contrary to Ukraine’s constitutional law on non-aligned status), and the US has established a naval base in Ochakov. In other words, the Ukrainians have used the breathing space provided by Minsk 2 to increase their army’s combat capability and foreign backing. Meanwhile, Ukraine’s offensive actions have been bolstered by the diplomatic support of the US’ special representative on Ukraine, Kurt Volker.

In view of all of this, the possibility of a new, full-scale war breaking out in winter or early spring next year looks all the more realistic.

My opinion on this matter coincides with that of the First Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Federation Council's Committee on Defense and Security, Franz Klintsevich. In an interview on December 18th, Klintsevich stated that Russian officers’ withdrawal from the JCCC would lead to Ukrainian authorities trying to directly and without intermediaries engage the DPR and LPR. Kiev, however, as recent history has shown, is in no position to hold peaceful negotiations with the Donbass republics, and therefore would likely unleash full-scale military operations.

Klintsevich emphasized in particular that Russia would have to intervene if the situation turns into a large-scale Ukrainian attack on Donbass. In his words: “We do not have the right to allow genocide against Russian people. I am convinced that we are obliged to intervene in this process.”

The probable consequences of this step have likely also been calculated in Kiev. For Ukraine, it is important to pretend that it has no intention of impeding an international peacekeeping mission in Donbass, for which it has been lobbying, and claim that it has by no means obstructed the freedom of movement of Russian officers from the JCCC. Yet on the very same day of December 18th, news arrived that the leaving Russian officers had been held up from departing for DPR territory, allegedly (according to Ukraine) due to shelling coming from the direction of the Donetsk People’s Republic which could have “threatened their lives and security.” Thus, the Russian officers in effect became hostages held on Ukrainian-occupied territory on questionable, unverified grounds.

In a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Russian President Vladimir Putin explained the reasons for the withdrawal of the Russian officers from the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of issues related to the ceasefire and stabilization of the situation (JCCC), the Kremlin press service said on Thursday.

Putin said, in particular, that "the Ukrainian authorities had been for a long time complicating conditions for the stay of our military and performance of their duties through different restrictions and provocations". "There was no reaction to our repeated suggestions to settle the inadmissible situation at hand," he said.

During the conversation initiated by Germany, "the leaders of Russia and Germany agreed to continue discussing pending issues, whose settlement is necessary to restart a full-scale activity of the JCCC," the Kremlin press service said.

They agreed "that aides to the two countries’ leaders will additionally address the terms that would make the return of the Russian officers within that structure possible," the press service added.

Putin and Merkel spoke in favor of translating into action as soon as possible the initiative on a mutual exchange of prisoners by the sides in the Ukrainian conflict. They also backed a Christmas truce declared by the Contact Group.

German Cabinet spokesman Steffen Seibert said in a statement the two leaders "welcomed the truce, announced in the run-up to Christmas and confirmed yesterday by the trilateral Contact Group, and expressed hope that it transforms into a long-term ceasefire in the east of Ukraine."

"The federal chancellor and the Russian president stressed the importance of agreements on prisoner swap, which should take place as soon as possible, being an important step toward implementing the Minsk agreements," the statement reads.

According to the spokesman, the sides also stressed the importance of work of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ukrainian ceasefire.

"Merkel stressed that the Center’s ability to perform its duties needs to be preserved," Seibert said. "The sides agreed that certain issues should be solved, so that Russian officers could return to the JCCC.".

The Russian officers making part of the JCCC left Donbass on December 19.

The Russian Foreign Ministry explained earlier that "Kiev was adamantly opposed to any documents regulating the JCCC's work." "Attempts to tackle the issue at the bilateral level, at the Minsk Contact Group or in the Normandy format were not successful," the ministry said.

Moreover, Ukraine, in violation of the agreements reached by the Russian and Ukrainian presidents on the JCCC, deliberately created a strained moral and psychological atmosphere for the Russian military servicemen that formed part of it, caused difficulties for performing their professional duties. In particular, it restricted the Russian officers’ access to the line of engagement, inspections at the joint observation posts deployed to the areas controlled by Ukraine.

"It came to banning communication with the local population. There were cases of Ukrainian military servicemen’s disrespectful attitude to their Russian counterparts," the Russian Foreign Ministry noted.

Members of the Contact Group on resolving the situation in eastern Ukraine decided to set up a Joint Centre for Control and Coordination at a Minsk meeting held on October 2, 2014. The JCCC is expected to coordinate processes concerning the Donbass ceasefire and resolve issues aimed at stabilizing the situation in the region in compliance with the Minsk Agreements.

The Washington Post said earlier the State Department approved a commercial license authorizing the export of sniper systems and ammunition to Ukraine.

The US Department of State has confirmed licensing commercial export of US-manufactured lethal weapons to Ukraine.

"The Department of State has licensed the commercial export of a limited number of small arms and light weapons to Ukraine from U.S. manufacturers,"

According to the official, the United States has "never had any policy that restricts such commercial sales." "The United States reviews requests for sales and export license applications on a case by case basis and this one was no different," he said.

"The United States government has neither directly sold nor granted defensive weapons to Ukraine nor ruled out the option of doing so," he added.

The Washington Post said earlier citing its sources in the US government that the Department of State had approved a commercial license for exports to Ukraine of Barrett M107A1 sniper systems, munitions and spare parts for them to a sum of $41.5 million. "We have crossed the Rubicon, this is lethal weapons and I predict more will be coming," the newspaper cited a senior congressional official.

Earlier, Canada put Ukraine on the list of countries to which it can export weapons

Russia warns US, Canada against weapons supplies to Ukraine

Russia has warned the US and Canada about consequences of arms shipments to Ukraine. Speaking at a meeting of the UN Security Council, Russia’s first deputy permanent representative to the UN, Pyotr Ilyichev said that shipments of US and Canadian weapons to Ukraine are pushing the country’s leadership to new military adventures.

The diplomat drew attention to reports that Canada announced its readiness to issue licenses to its companies for arms deliveries to Ukraine, and American companies, in particular the manufacturer of hand grenade launchers Airtronic USA, "are already supplying weapons to Kiev, gaining a consent of both the State Department and the Pentagon behind-the-scenes, although officially the US declares that there is no final decision on this matter."

"We would like to recommend those who are pushing (the countries) to such decisions and take them, to think about responsibility. It is clear that the pumping of Ukraine with American and Canadian means of war pushes the country’s leadership, which sabotages the Minsk agreements, to new military adventures. Everyone should understand that the conflict in the Donbass will not be resolved by force, and those who give arms to the murderers will be to blame for the death of people there, "Ilyichev said.

Earlier it was reported that Canada had put Ukraine on the list of countries that are allowed to sell Canadian automatic weapons. The corresponding information was published by the Canada Gazette, the official publication of the Canadian government. The document notes that applications for the import or export of goods, according to national legislation, are considered by the Government of Canada on a case-by-case basis in accordance with Canadian international and defense policies. At present, this list includes 39 countries, most of them are NATO members.

The Washington Post has reported that the US approved an export license for supplies of ammunition, large-caliber sniper rifles and spare parts worth more than 41 million dollars to the Ukraine.

Deliveries of lethal weapons to Ukraine can "warm up the hotheads of nationalists who want to unleash new bloodshed in the Donbass" stated the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.

At the same time, Peskov noted that there had not been any official statements from Washington." "These reports of the American press do not correspond to reality, while no official decisions were taken on this matter," he stressed.

So, hot off the MSM press tonight to counter Russia's warning (perhaps) was Ukraine's SBU (and likely CISIS somewhere) allegations of a Russian spy (Stanislav Yezhov) between the Ukraine (we need weapons) PM Volodymyr Groysman while in Canada in talks with the PM Trudeau - Stanislav was the official interpreter. Lot's of James Bond type allegations of high-tech have been made. ;)

Accused Russian spy was in the room for Trudeau talks with Ukrainian P

You cannot get any closer to power in Canada than standing beside the prime minister's desk.

That is where an accused Russian spy was during the recent bilateral meeting between Justin Trudeau and Ukraine Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman.

Stanislav Yezhov, a key aide and interpreter for Groysman, found himself in a different place Wednesday night.

He was arrested by his country's state security service and accused of treason.

He was in the room for a number of high-level meetings in Ottawa, including private sessions with Trudeau and Gov. Gen. Julie Payette.

He also interpreted an interview Groysman conducted with CBC News { } as part of his official visit, which included testimony before the House of Commons foreign affairs committee.

Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland, who is of Ukrainian heritage, was in Kyiv on Thursday as the scandal unfolded. {no doubt quarterbacking}

Her staff said she was unavailable to comment.

Given the timing of the visit on Oct. 31, the case raises serious questions for the Canadian and Ukrainian governments, said a security and intelligence expert.

"Him standing behind the prime minister's desk is a little worrisome, depending on what was on his desk at the time," { I'm guessing it was the Magnitsky Act - timing is about right to push it through the Senate} said Phil Gurski, a retired CSIS officer. "At this point, the major concern that I would have is — what was spoken? What was said on a bilateral basis between Canada and Ukraine that is now in the hands of the Russians?"

Arms sales, G7 discussed

Groysman, in his interview with CBC News that day, said the two countries discussed the issue of adding Ukraine to the list of countries where Canadian arms manufacturers can sell weapons and about Trudeau using the upcoming chairmanship of the G7 to focus attention on the war-torn eastern European country.

A spokesman for Trudeau offered little comment, beyond confirming that Yezhov was part of the Ukrainian delegation.

Cameron Ahmad said Canada had its own interpreter in the room.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) said Thursday it had opened a treason case, but not yet laid charges against the interpreter, who was allegedly recruited by Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB)

A statement by the SBU accused Yezhov of collecting "data on the activities of governmental institutions by means of special equipment."

He allegedly passed information to his Russian contacts "through electronic communication channels." {iPhone}

The agency's statement also suggested Yezhov had been under surveillance for a while but was allowed to go about his business as security officers gathered evidence. {or manufactured evidence}

That raises the possibility the Ukrainian security service knew about the potential security risk during Groysman's visit to Ottawa.

Gurski said that is significant and something Canadian officials, particularly Freeland, should follow up on immediately.

"What the Ukrainians should have done is not permitted him to travel with the prime minister to Canada for bilateral talks," he said.

"They had reasonable grounds to suspect he was spying for the Russians, he has no business to be part of that delegation."

Gurski was not prepared to call it a security lapse, but believes a review should take place.

"I would say that if it's not a security lapse we need to revisit the protocols that we function under when it comes to visiting delegations," he said.
Inner circle

Yezhov, who has long been part of Groysman's inner circle, also took part in meetings with British Prime Minister Theresa May last July and former U.S. vice-president Joe Biden in 2016, according to published reports in Britain.

SkyNews quoted May on Thursday as saying she was aware of reports that Yezhov had been arrested but deferred to Ukrainian authorities.

The Ukrainian embassy in Ottawa confirmed that "a member of staff" working for "cabinet ministers" was detained Wednesday by the SBU under suspicion of illegally collecting information in favour of the Russian Federation.

"He is suspected in a state treason. The investigation is underway. The decision on the case will be ruled by the Ukrainian court," said the statement.
