I bought a couple of books by Troels that picked my interest: "Paul and the Stoics" and "Cosmology and Self in the Apostle Paul: The Material Spirit". I found cheaper copies in abebooks.com. The bookseller has confirmed my order and there are still other copies available. In amazon, price can reach the 3 digit numbers.

There are a couple of quotes from Gnosis that comes to mind. With the keyword "induction" there is the following:

Let us now see what happens in the motor sectors of the emotional centre following this abundant production of fine, pure energy SI-12.

It reacts quite differently from the intellectual centre. We must remember that in the exterior man the emotional centre does not work with the Hydrogen 12 which should normally nourish it, but with the Hydrogen 24 proper to the motor centre. Even if only for a few moments, the couple taste this higher Divine condition which is Beatitude, a taste which leaves a feeling of relaxation and ineffable peace in its wake.

I too had a dream just last tuesday and though not involving animals, it did involve a fight. In the dream someone had set a deadly trap for me, which I narrowly escaped and shortly afterwards in the dream, I saw this person along with his two henchmen. They were walking out of my house(in the dream) and carrying a coffin with a big cross on it, obviously destined for me, whom they had presumed died in the trap. When they saw me they turned their faces away as if to hide and I walked up and punched the leader in the face, being unafraid. I then woke up, not in a state of fear or racing heart, but more calm and justified in taking the fight to the opponent. Perhaps that dream was related to something on another plane, as mentioned in the session.

I wonder if these "fighting off threats" at another level is not also due to the thinning of the veil and the approaching wave.

Thanks, for the clarification, as there are also Paul in his Hellenistic Context and Paul Beyond the Judaism-Hellenism Divide.
Options are buy it on amazon/ebay or find it at a library (like for example starting here: _http://www.worldcat.org/title/paul-and-the-stoics/oclc/247463458&referer=brief_results, just type your country). The third option is a pdf (speaking of Cosmology and Self in the Apostle Paul: The Material Spirit), which option I will discuss if asked by mods/admins.

What a choice! ...
Take them one to strike the others ... What a disappointment ... What will come out of it? ...

25th of march was also the 10th anniversary of the UPR (Union Populaire Républicaine) and the 60th of Rome Treaty. You might want to check out Asselineau and discover another possible choice. This is the only candidate I would vote for.


I also had a dream of attack recently, almost a nightmare. I woke up in the middle of the night and this didn't happen since a while. Quite unusual. I was jogging with my cat, he was quite happy to be outside, wild and free. Then a tiger appeared and a chase began. I made it safe to my car seeing a wolf who killed a dog on the way, it was like a way to protect himself from the tiger's hunger. But my cat disappeared and I was so concerned it woke me up, even though I had the feeling he was agile enough to hide himself.

I think that is very well put.
Gratitude for all that has been done, and taking personal responsibility for what you do with the opportunity is important.
Choices seem to carry more weight than they use to these days.

I've not had many knightmares/fighting/running dreams recently, but have had a lifetime of them up until a few years ago.
I did feel the need for extra protection last night though, like something was in the air.

Both choices and whatever is in the air seem to both root in background anxiety (if you are avoiding doing something) and subtle impressions that can both be easily ignored fwiw.
 
Thanks to this new session, much to ponder. :umm:

What was most useful was that Troels (ya gotta love a guy with a name like that!) created a graphic model of what participation in Stoicism, Pauline Christianity, and The Work is supposed to accomplish for the individual and it is all about creating community at a higher level of being.
