This thread's initial topic ended in 2009. After that point, smart phones became ubiquitous with the iPhone appearing for initial sale in 2007 and gaining unbelievable momentum in 2008-09. The Android began copying some of the iPhone's features in 2010 with touch screen, etc. We are all aware of the history since that time.
As I've mentioned on SOTT, my last job, prior to retiring, was driving cab in Las Vegas. I had widespread opportunity to observe the increasing addiction of people to their smart phones over the years. Everyone, tourist, conventioneer, or business person, would exit a hotel/casino and immediately whip out the phone anxiously burying their noses into their messages and texts. I have literally seen entire blocks of people walking observing nothing but reading their smart phones.
Although I do not slight TV's influence, the shadowy powerbrokers have accomplished far more quickly and effectively control of populations worldwide through their smart phones. In 2017, they accomplished a significant step. They influenced people to add physical movement to the programming they were/are receiving through their phones.
I mention this observation after finishing the "Knowledge and Being" video today. Laura explained how she coupled visualization with walking on the treadmill and when, finally opening the eyes, focusing on the crystals in water in a bowl in order to find a new house in France. I don't participate in Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, etc., but I do see in articles on SOTT and elsewhere posts from these platforms when they are referenced in articles. I would suggest that smart phones are being and have been used for emotional programming. (I, too, like the Pleiadian books. In there, they affirm that humans gain true knowledge through their emotions/feelings. Humans connect to the Cosmic Mind/Information Storage through emotions.)
2017 became unusual in that people became so inflamed by messages and emotionally colored inscriptions/thoughts that they willingly participated in large scale physical activity Huge crowds against Trump. Black Lives Matter protests turning aggressive and violent. The #MeToo movement provides another example. Once you couple programming with physical action, how far off is the endgame? The extreme cleverness of emotionally heating up people + the encouragement to march or protest (physical action) revolves around the fact that each cause reflects "a good value": protest against Trump's perceived misogyny and callousness; valuing all people including minorities; and breaking the barriers of sexual cohersion in the work place. The end result is a population addicted to a physical instrument, addicted to emotional roiling, and adding density to their position. I would add, also, a population which is unable to access any inner truth, beauty, or knowledge.
