What are you listening to?

Hello!

I enjoy listening to a variety of music. I listen to classical, blues, rock, and jazz.

My favourite composer is Fryderyk Chopin. His Mazurkas are fantastic! His music contains the perfect balance of intellect and emotion.

Chopin - Mazurka, Op. 30 No. 3 (Played By Arthur Rubinstein)

Jimi Hendrix - Wild Thing (Live At The Black Pool Opera House)

Syd Barrett - Maisie

T-Bone Walker - You Don't Understand

Working Class Hero -- John Lennon

As soon as your born they make you feel small,
By giving you no time instead of it all,
Till the pain is so big you feel nothing at all,

A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.

They hurt you at home and they hit you at school,
They hate you if you're clever and they despise a fool,
Till you're so facking crazy you can't follow their rules,

A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.

When they've tortured and scared you for twenty odd years,
Then they expect you to pick a career,
When you can't really function you're so full of fear,

A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.

Keep you doped with religion and sex and TV,
And you think you're so clever and classless and free,
But you're still facking peasants as far as I can see,

A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.

There's room at the top they are telling you still,
But first you must learn how to smile as you kill,
If you want to be like the folks on the hill,

A working class hero is something to be.
A working class hero is something to be.

If you want to be a hero well just follow me,
If you want to be a hero well just follow me.

This lyric is awesome, "They hate you if you're clever and they despise a fool."

for months this obscure but great song from a band called Colonel Bagshot has been repeating in my head. it's called Six Day War and was recorded in 1971.

listen to this haunting song here: Video by A B

Colonel Bagshot - Six Day War

At the starting of the week
At summit talks you'll hear them speak
It's only Monday
Negotiations breaking down
See those leaders start to frown
It's sword and gun day

Tomorrow never comes until it's too late

You could be sitting taking lunch
The news will hit you like a punch
It's only Tuesday
You never thought we'd go to war
After all the things we saw
It's April Fools day

Tomorrow never comes until it's too late
Tomorrow never comes until it's too late

You hear a whistling overhead
Are you alive or are you dead?
It's only Thursday
You feel a shaking on the ground
A billion candles burn around
Is it your birthday?

Tomorrow never comes until it's too late
Tomorrow never comes until it's too late
Make tomorrow come I think it's too late

The riffs in the song compliment the lyrics perfectly. The music is composed very well!

John Martyn, "One World"
Sensitive, inspired, exceptionally gifted. One of my few top songwriters. R.I.P. John, you are missed.
Nice images here, also check out the original One World, studio version
...
Some of us live like princes
Some of us live like kings and queens
But most of us live just like me and don't know what it means
To make our way in one world
To have our say in one world
To make our peace in one world ...

There are some swear words, and the situation with Tommy Robinson is.. "complicated."

But I am a fan of the rock and roll music, and I think this song rocks.

Like music, blues, disco, the 80s, Wagner's tetralogy, George Michael. But my favorite band, it remains slayer !!
