Ep #2 is on tonight.... about a flight showing up 5 years late, lives have moved on for those on the ground, but just a regular flight time for those on the plane... outside of a few moments of bad turbulence. Plotline is very familar, no? Other than this issue of 'lost' time.... the writers are bringing in a psychic connection to spice things up more.

I saw the first episode and liked it. (How long before they find a way to ruin it? Can't unboil the frogs too fast now!)

It's like the whole plane full of people are "window fallers". I especially found it interesting they had female main character voice over saying "Whatever force was responsible for what happened to us had no interest in being investigated" as they watched plane explode. (Of course, if such a thing happened naturally, the authorities would try to prevent investigation even though they didn't do it.)

The psychic connection makes sense with what clues we have from the Philadelphia experiment.

 Yeah unlike Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, these people got to come back. There lives are a bit disjointed after disappearing for over 5 and a half years but they did re-materialize.

Major network; they're bound to screw it up.

I'll get to watch episode two tomorrow on Hulu

Most likely to stay a relationship storyline. I'm just curious if they present anything else... I guess the psychic aspect alone is something... for the MSM anyway... so far, no pointing of fingers at the state, etc... it's all being done on a personal level.. so far. Let's see how their story assistant/specialist... can't think of the word.... usually these projects have someone more in the know giving them suggestions... like they did with Fringe... or those 9-11 projects before 9-11.

Yes, well the truth is in the real world the PTB would have 'disappeared' the entire crew and passengers after rerouting them to a secret air base and the public would never have known a thing. So right there we venture adrift from probable scenarios. But after watching the second episode, I have to say I do like the show so far. Looking forward to the rest.

So far, it's been pretty entertaining... the psychic thing is done ok... with their need to determine what the symbols mean... a common problem in channeling as Laura as written about.. understanding what the symbols mean etc..... this layered over the usual character plotlines.

PS... forgot to mention the phones... even the general public knows that our intel agencies are spying on everyone all the time, so these people would definitely know their phones are being 'tapped'... so an obvious deceit... they would have teams watching them 24/7... so most of the plotlines of them moving on to avoid them is ridiculous... I'm a little surprised they wrote it like that... which implies they were 'advised' to do so... usually to make the feds look good, pretending they don't spy on us all the time etc.

I was thinking while watching it, saying "lying to the NSA" on a cellphone is exactly the kind of thing their automated systems pick up on. That would lead the NSA, that the 828's are trying to evade, right to them.

SPOILER ALERT
But the show did have the NSA murder one of the 828's (and blame a crazy patsy) so they could dissect her. (Just like what the "psi corps" did to telepath character Talia Winters on the sci-fi tv series Babylon 5. "We learned some interesting things about Ms Winters in the course of her debriefing and dissect—that is, examination.")

Yeah, the show is setup in typical Hollywood libtard SJW mode, with our white brother/sister and his son... against a mostly 'ethnic' supporting cast... and it's leading them up to being 'on a mission from God'... with that angel image at the end... and they only need to figure out what the messages/images mean before they go into SJW mode. It's a little much to handle... I was hoping for a little more from their advisor... but this seems to be all we're gonna get... I'll most likely drop it.
