A health tip for everybody

A thing i found on Pinterest. It says: "Did you know that sleeping with your socks could kill your brain? During the sleep, as the blood circulation decelerates, the socks, with the pressure they have on the capillary vessels, they slow down the blood even more and prevent the brain from receiving enough blood and causes the diseases like Alzheimer to appear."

Again, there is no scientific evidence of this. There are even studies that suggest warm feet can promote better sleep onset by aiding thermoregulation, indirectly supporting overall circulation. I would suggest not believing everything you read on the internet, along with not posting these incorrect claims as health tips.

Right, this is mentioned in the YT series from Andrew Huberman's channel with Dr. Matt Walker about sleep, specifically on Protocols on How to Improve Your Sleep. No evidence or studies show that using socks when sleeping causes Alzheimer's; however, poor sleep may contribute to the disease.

Well, I almost never can sleep without socks since I'm prone to cold feet. Only if it's too hot in summer. If the socks are not too tight and the feet are comfortable within them, there shouldn't be a problem with circulation.
