I thought I would share with the forum an experience I had with Éiriú Eolas. After thinking about the experience, I was inspired to write a poem. I hope the reader will find it uplifting. I've called it, “My Road Rage Is All Gone”.
For some time, the trials of life,
Have caused me to get stressed.
And, sharing the road with other cars,
Made me an awful mess.
They’d drive too slow, or cut me off,
And, not move out of my way.
And, in my yells and curses,
I realized, I had road rage.
Now, I went home, after this,
And, pondered what to do.
Then I recalled, that I just bought,
Éiriú Eolas, new.
I’d disregard the disclaimer,
“Don’t Listen While You Drive”
I put the CD in my car,
And, took it for a ride.
The pipe-breath, it sure relaxed;
The vagus nerves, engaged.
And, as I passed a crossing street,
A car horn blared, enraged.
I saw the angry driver,
And, his finger gesture too.
And, to my own surprise,
I did not follow suit.
Down the road, just one block,
A car sped out in front.
From the left, he crossed my path,
Driving like a drunk.
He missed my car by just a hair,
But, I was not upset.
For I was doing the warrior’s breath,
And, shouted out the stress.
Then the three-stage breath I did;
And, felt light in the head.
The drivers at the street I passed,
Were not polite, instead,
They shouted curses to my back,
And, honked as I drove on.
But, that did not bother me,
My road rage was all gone.
Then, I said the Soul’s Prayer,
The words, they had effect.
“Clear my eyes”, I asked, and then,
I began to introspect.
Then, the blood rushed from my face,
And, I had an inner sight.
It was then I realized,
I ran through three red lights.
