A sign that things are about to change drastically?

Why have 10 major volcanoes along the Ring of Fire suddenly roared to life?

The article says:

Ten major volcanoes have erupted along the Ring of Fire during the past few months, and the mainstream media in the United States has been strangely silent about this. But this is a very big deal. We are seeing eruptions at some volcanoes that have been dormant for decades. Yes, it is certainly not unusual for two or three major volcanoes along the Ring of Fire to be active at the same time, but what we are witnessing right now is highly unusual. And if the U.S. media is not concerned about this yet, the truth is that they should be.

And then:
Seven volcanoes in six different countries all start erupting within hours of each other

So, we have eruptions big enough to prompt evacuations. Flights are canceled, and a new island pops up off the coast of Japan. I would have called that newsworthy myself but obviously I'm wrong. If I was right it would have been common knowledge right? Reports may have been on the news right?

So many volcanoes throwing so much gas, ash and particulates into the air can have an effect on climate, this is a scientific fact. I'm not saying that these volcanoes herald the start of a new ice age but the planet certainly seems to be getting a bit more active of late.

Continued large eruptions put a huge amount of particulate matter into the atmosphere, and these particles reflect sunlight away from earth and when there is enough of them the temperatures can drop.

The Mount Pinatubo eruption lowered temperatures by around 0.5°C across the Northern Hemisphere.

Considering that we are in a cooling period anyway, having so many volcanoes going off at the same time is not good. Aside from the devastating effects the lava and ash can have on the lives of those living near to them, the global impacts can be enormous.

Lost crops due to ash fall and lower temperatures can lead to hunger and famine, as happened after the Tambora eruption in 1815.

I would say that this is definitely a SIGN that needs to be carefully considered by all who are thinking that they have time to get their ducks in a row and do something.

That sounds pretty scary and unusual.

One thing that came to me reading this is that it could be a proverbial very tip of an iceberg:
What about the additional underwater volcanic activity that we can't measure, but only know that about 80% volcanoes are under-the-water.. ?

The heating effect it can have on the waters causing them to evaporate, escalation of poisonous out gassings, etc.

Wonder how long is this going to continue, and how will it develop.
The media blackout couldn't last too long if the volcanoes keep on going.

It is appearing a little more in the EU and AU news, however this site gives a good picture:

Combining news here:

HiThere

The Living Force
There has been news coverage of the volcanoes in Japan, Indonesia and Etna the last days, but not one article combining these events except here. Exciting times indeed.

I think the above video, which is also on sott, is an example of normalcy bias, as you see people walking casually along the streets with umbrellas to protect from the ash and stones that come down...nothing to worry about, just a few rocks

Good point, I also was pretty surprised by watching it. It is really incredible as people forget their own story, to say the least. I mean, it is not like if Etna had ever create troubles in the past. It did. And we all know that. But, obviously, Sicilians people cannot/do not want to remember it, while they are those who live there...

Oh dear... *counts ducks frantically*
I think this old feeling of urgency just rose to new heights for me

Reading through a compilation of material, the C's transcripts, on this forum perhaps, or in Lauras books, I can't pinpoint where, but it indicated that volcanic eruptions were common place in history indicating a soler body approaching or interacting with earths' magnetic field.

And isn't the magnetic field suppose to be reversing very soon, or did it happen already? I thought I read it happens every 11-12 years, and was to take place again sometime in October-December?

Also all the volcanic activity would seem to be indicative of the "opening-up" of the earth as well.

At any rate, the results of the ash accumulation alone will be devastating. Not to mention the under-sea volcanoes (as ametist pointed out). Between the ash blocking the sun, and under-sea volcanic eruptions further heating-up the ocean, it will hurl us promptly into an ice-age. It seems we have been on the brink of an ice-age for the past 5 years anyway. These events will just bring it on much faster.

Yellowstone trembles again - New Earthquake Swarm
_http://thewatchers.adorraeli.com/2013/11/24/yellowstone-trembles-again-new-earthquake-swarm-underway/

A new earthquake swarm is currently underway at Yellowstone National Park, USA. According to the earthquake list of University of Utah, a new series of relatively stronger earthquakes started on November 23, 2013. Almost all of them are located approximately 19 km (12 miles) NNE of West Yellowstone, MT.

Most noticeable earthquakes are M 3.3 that struck on November 23 at 20:47 UTC (13:47 local time) and M 3.1 that struck on November 24 at 07:18 UTC (00:18 local time).

Keep in mind that we are still 7 days before the new YVO monthly update report when more data will be available.

The magnetic reversal happening every 11-12 years is a process of our Sun, no one is sure how exactly does it happen with Earth, however, there are some indications that it is the case for Earth as well in the present time.

The problem is that there could be something beyond the regularity of even recent cycles, that is, the outer space Brown Dwarf visitor, and the Wave + third and fourth density influences as stated by the C's.

Also, the uncertainty is regarding the speed of earth's magnetic reversal. It could be gradual, or fast, or from gradual - to fast.

But all phenomena seem to start piling up at an ever increasing rate, so when they reach critical mass the pace could be quicker than most people's ability to prepare for it.

Now, this most recent volcanoes(including Yellowstone  )/earthquake/storm situation could be indicative of the critical mass being reached right now.

Have you heard of Wim Hof ( _http://icemanwimhof.com/en-home )? He has a training method for building tolerance against the cold, and also, with a fan / trainee of his, wrote a book called "Becoming the Iceman".
One of the simplest ways to start developing cold conditioning is cold showers ( _https://www.earthclinic.com/Remedies/showers2.html#RF ), barefoot walking (in the cold), etc.

The heating effect and poisonous gases could also help explain all the dead fish and other sea creatures that turned up in recent years.

I actually have heard of him a few years ago. He explained that he uses his mind to control an inner thermostat to keep himself warm and not be affected by cold weather. The power of the mind...(via hard work of course)
The new 'Centre of Wim Hof' is in Poland fwiw.

Hi Skysira, concerning Wim Hof, he was discussed here on the Cryogenic Chamber Therapy thread which may be of interest to you.
