National Monuments of Ireland have just announced the discovery of an ancient tomb uncovered by a digger during land reclamation work. Doesn't so far look like the usual Bronze Age wedge tombs found in this region. In fact differences have already been noted. Local archaeologists are saying it's "highly unusual and significant find". One said that, "it's not like any of the other Bronze Age burial sites we have here". An unusual smooth oval-shaped bone and human bone have been discovered. A full survey has yet to be done but, so far, it's already looking like a significant discovery.
