beothuk indians

The Force is Strong With This One
can you guys ask if there are any living descendants of the beothuk indians from canada? i know they say their isnt but i think otherwise ...

Personally, I'm a bit confused. Given the conventionally reported history of the Beothuk, even if there are living descendants, whether original indigenous or with European admixture, what would be interesting about them? I'm just asking out of curiosity.

I don't know if anyone else would consider the question "noise" and that's not a call for me to make. Since the Beothuk are a relatively new subject for me, I really am curious as to what would be interesting about them given their kinda "leave me alone" history as reported in the conventional mediums. My post was just an invitation to provide more info as to what you are thinking, that's all.

the only thing i know is that they migrated north to newfoundland to get away from white people due to them seeing how they interacted with others. so they tried to isolate themselves, but unfortunately they met their demise by the white man like all of the other first nations :(

I don't think it was noise :) I think what buddy was saying is perhaps you should present some more background. Who they were, what have you found out, and why is it important? I also think that before immediately asking that a question be asked to the C's that maybe you should ask if any of the other forum members have an knowledge to input.

Basically if it becomes something that more start to wonder about (due to what imformation you present) and the answer is no where to be found, I'm sure it will then be ask to the C's... But again, it has to be relavent to group, and that where you could introduce us to the topic.
